Forgot about tonight’s show. From what I saw on Twitter, he sounded fine. I think Slash was playing in Eb, which is funny because some guy on YouTube commented on my cover video insisting that this song would be in standard tuning.

Yeah... Eb it is for sure (Jessica is almost always tuned Eb). I would think that the song is "meant to be" played in standard tuning, but it can also be played in Eb tuning

So do you think that GNR is suggested because one person has these songs on his computer?

I didn't mean for one person's files to cause this... like i said i don't know how to explain this. I mainly thought that if several computers and users have the same "local" file, Spotify somehow with an algorithm make some magic and so on...  to be honest i know nothing about algorithms

Why? You didn't like the original title? (just curious).

I have "both"... although they are the same. If i remember right, in the original cd4 folder it is still Me and My Elvis and then there is another folder where its named to Soul Monster. Don't ask me why :shrugs::lol:

If Spotify just counted user uploaded songs for an artist someone could upload stuff like “Axl Loves Taco Bell” and it would register as a GNR song. Spotify knows better than to let that take place, and it also doesn’t explain songs that have been circulating as demos coming up now when they’ve been around for years.

    good point

That wouldn’t have any impact on anyone else since that’s entirely local for you and your device. If that was the cause their platform would be flooded with titles and stuff.

That's what I'd like to believe  I don't know exactly how much data, for example, Spotify collects from its users' computers and how it uses that... just saying

Have you renamed Me and My Elvis to Soul Monster?

    Yes

I've been using Spotify to listen all the local files on my computer like a "media player" (all leaked cd's etc..) ... i think that spotify (algorithm) is "uploading" that information to somewhere and thats why they suggests GNR when we try to search atlas, sog an so on. :shrugs:I don't know how to explain it

Definitely more that than you’re nonsense. Where did you hear this info re providers slowing network speed down SPECIFICALLY to stop people streaming a fucking Guns n Roses gig.

You can’t say “apparently” in a sentence and then stick a question mark at the end.

You’ve made a bullshit statement, which came from your head and then posted it here as a “I wonder if this is why there’s no streams”

The fact your head even thought that a bunch of ISPs are going to slow NW speed for an entire area, impacting people NOT even at the gig blows MY head 😂

You’re the fool I refused to suffer today.

So if they play HS, do you guys think the band will release it officially?

Yes. I believe its a new single?... although there is no evidence that they have been in the studio together (?), But modern technology allows recording separately. Slash may have recorded guitar parts in his own studio and Axl may have recorded vocal parts in his own studio... etc. etc.
