This is kind of what happened to me. After the NITL tour once got started I strictly ignored all GNR related social media including this board. This because I didn’t want to know anything about the setlist etc. before my first show which was London 2017 1st night. Hence, I didn’t know anything about the lithos as well.

At the show I saw the (now) famous Jack the Ripper litho and really liked it. But nevertheless I skipped it because I didn’t want to have a „poster“ with me the whole night, especially such an expensive „poster“.

Back from my London trip I went back „online“ (in terms of GNR) and learned about the lithos. You might guess how my reaction was 😄

Exactly the same as what happened to me, the guy in front of me bought number 35 and I just said "no I'll stick with a t shirt"! The misses even offered to carry it! I've since added to the collection with some cheaper eBay buys, hoping to cure the bug before I see a London 1 😅

Just for clarity, I measured my Manila (which I know with 100% certainty is real)

My tape is metric and the litho is just a few mm short of 18 inches wide

and almost exactly 24 inches long. As you can see, the toploader I have it in at the moment is a bit short (will probably swap it out and throw it away) but the litho is most definitely "US Standard"

The handwriting for the hand-numbering of a lot of the Asia lithos is distinct and at least to my eye (for good or bad, I've seen a LOT of GNR lithos over the past couple years), the handwriting on your fake doesn't match either. Why they would print a fake of one of the more disappointing designs is beyond me. Maybe they just assumed people buying a Manila wouldn't be as discerning or picky as someone buying an expensive litho? No idea.

Really glad I had a look on here before buying, I asked about the Manila, Jakatar and Malaysia that busy-bee123 has on eBay and he said that they are 56 x 42cm (about 22 x 16.5 inches). He has also not shown the numbers in the pictures, and when I asked for them he said "they're all different numbers". So I'm not sure if he knows they are fake or not.

  3. Like many of you, I love the Lithos, and I've seen some crazy collections online. How do you guys know they're real? Do you trust the eBay seller? Also is there any where else you look to buy them?

I've got ones from Download UK and graspop festivals, but didn't know I wanted them so badly when I was front of the queue at London night 1

Any tips or advice appreciated, looking to pick up some of the cheaper ones, and if I get lucky a london 1

    Cheers
