    Are you on drugs?

Youre probably a fan of gnr new singles shotty production too.

Not particularly, GN’R at least has the excuse of working with recordings from the 90’s and 2000’s haha. Andrew Watt is atrocious at making records… i can’t stand any of the records he makes. I guess i’ll give the Stones a bit of grace that the actually writing isn’t horrible, the recordings are though.

  2. those are poly-lined inner sleeves... they are supposed to be better for yr vinyl, pretty common now a-days. i'm not sure that the OG inner sleeves were poly lined either, as i have a first US pressing of lies & it's just a printed inner.

here's a link to a popular brand of those poly lined sleeves:

Unfortunately due to my work schedule it is hard to find the time to go to these two shows, however I would have worked harder to free up my schedule if I didn't already spend a ton of money traveling to San Diego to see GNR because at that point no LA date had been announced lmao

If these are the shows they bust out The General / Monsters I swear  however I hope they do for those who will be there

i travelled from Modesto, CA to San Diego and damn it was worth it haha.

  4. i’ve never really considered we know everything they’ve ever written, especially early on. Just because it’s not on bootlegs or leaks doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. It’s not hard to imagine that there’s tons of cassettes of ideas or even full songs. These guys had a lotta free time & were very persistent with making music. I doubt Mayhue misspoke, i think he is more likely to know more than us forum junkies. Just a thought.

Relieved to see others don’t enjoy Myles Kennedy’s voice. He’s got good range/control/pitch, but i cannot bear his keening diet-rock whine. There’s something very disinteresting about it.

i feel the same! i always keep to myself on these sort of topics, but his voice is tough to listen to sometimes. I did enjoy him a bit at first, but he sings too high i think. I always wanna hear what slash is up to, though Myles makes it impossible for me.

It'll sell just fine. Other than the people on here, nobody is going to hear Chi Dem material or new songs. A new album isn't gonna magically boost attendance numbers.

i doubt they will ever have poor ticket sales again... Personally, i missed out on a lot of years of GN'R shows (I'm 25) & in my opinion they still kick enough ass to go see every couple of years. I wish the sets changed more drastically, but the revolving deep cuts, new song (absurd was the only one out by my last show), etc. still makes it blast to me. I really hope for more music, as i love the 2 new tracks, & loved CD when it came out.
