Is Axl a fan of the Foo Fighters? Also, I'm sure he said he was into Infectious Grooves and Dogs D'Amour once?
I also remember, he was into Thunder's Backstreet Symphony when that came out.
-
Has Axl ever mentioned Def Leppard?
I know a few members of GNR and Leppard have jammed/hung out together and I believe Axl and Joe Elliott got on ok.

I just wondered if Axl ever did one of those 'Favourite albums of all time' lists... or has albums that he has singled out as his favourites in interviews over the years?
I'm guessing there would be some early Queen, Some Elton John, Stones, NIN etc?
I figured you guys would know, cheers!

How do you embed the video properly? (Excuse me, technofear man! Drag me into the 1990s FFS!...)

I agree about The Works, a great album but far too short. It definitely needed an extra couple of tracks.

My all time favourite of anyone's albums is Innuendo. Most of my Queen fan chums say 'Queen II'. What's your favourite?

Roger Taylor - Fun In Space.

Now That's What I Call Music Vol.2 (reissue)

Queen - Houston 1977 Bootleg

Motorhead gave me some permanent hearing loss. I was seriously trying to lip read people at work the next day. It recovered to some extent but I don't ever think my hearing has been the same since then. I have seen a lot of bands too.

Well seeing as Lep are influenced by pretty much the same artists as GNR, I thought maybe they would have some sort of opinion on them, good or bad, but I've never heard anything. I thought maybe GNR would've dug the first three Leppard albums maybe.

Hi guys.
I'm new here. Something I've always wanted to know. Have the members of Guns N' Roses ever expressed an opinion on Def Leppard? I've never heard anything said either pro or against. I know Slash and Duff have jammed with Joe Elliott a few times (Freddie Mercury Tribute and Kings Of Chaos), but I've absolutely have no idea if they love or hate their music?

This is indeed, true. Two songs were cancelled due to over running (this has been rumoured to be down to problems with Rick Allen's drum kit)..
Guns N' Roses were supposed to perform Sweet Child O' Mine. The other song that was dropped was 'A Kind of Magic'. There are two rumours about who was supposed to be singing that, it was either Roger Taylor or Chris Thompson (Manfred Mann's Earthband).
Another GNR rumour from that show, apparently the Scorpions were there ready to jump in if Axl didn't show. I have no idea how true this is.
I was near the front that day and it was bloody amazing.
I also remember the protestors outside Wembley. Basically, nobody cared about them.
