That's basically the same as a GnR-branded beercoaster.
But seriously, are you Susan Holmes?
I actually like tenderness album unlike lighthouse. That one is really a way too simple.

With so many people praising them I'm hoping that what I listened to on YouTube was not the official version and was instead some fake stuff by fans or something.
First time I heard the songs on the phone I thought it might be fake. Not anymore. No one but Axl could possibly create this. So unique.

I don't know, maybe it is weird for Americans and others that have this bell sound at school. As ours is different I do not find it cheesy. Would the song work without it? Absolutely.
I always found the Robin's demo guitar intro weird (while I actually really appreciate his other CD stuff) so I am much happier with Duff's bass that make it sound more GNR-esque.

I cannot stop listening to Monsters. For me it is one of the best GNR songs, I can't help it. The smile is not leaving my face when the song is on - Axl's bridge, the chilled choruses and guitar solo. Both Slash and Axl on this song are just wow. Somehow the song reminds me of Sympathy for the Devil and Sentimental Movie but simply different league/level.

Just saw a snippet of Slither from Sacramento. To me it sounds like Axl has already figured out how to sing that and is doing a decent job there.

I would contend that the vast majority of people that end up at a GNR concert know more than just 4 songs. If they’re at the concert they probably listened to rock stations in the last 30 years and at minimum they would know the following:
It’s So Easy, Mr Brownstone, SCOM, Paradise City and maybe even Nightrain and/or Rocket Queen. They would also know Patience for sure. Then they would absolutely know November Rain, Knocking on Heaven’s Door and probably Don’t Cry, Civil War and You Could Be Mine as well. I’d say the typical concert goers would know at least 9-10 songs.
And u forgot wttj

The hidden track #10 is Cuban Skies, and all of a sudden, you find out that Max Creeps was really a new secret GNR album all along.
Does the cover not somehow remind you of LLAS cover? Duff and Axl 37 years later?

Wichita, Seeker, You're Crazy, Absurd, ohh and on Paradise City he was a full rasping motherfucker.
Other songs barely Mickey. He was rasping here and there.
But why do you care, don't you feel bad for those who watched?
Come on, saw wttj and hard skool on yt, no mickey at all. Axl nailed it.

Paul came in to bring back the sleazy and dynamic rhythm guitar that Izzy had. Gilby didn't, and it's very noticeable in any UYI show or even on TSI.
The "Paul is not a good guitar player" is very much a rhetoric made by Slash to justify his disliking (which was followed by Duff and Matt), IMO. I didn't read Slash's book, so I know nothing about the supposed "attitude" Paul had toward the other members, but it seems like Duff and Matt were still working with him for a time after Slash left.
I can count several things, but just listen to his work on The Blues and Madagascar. Even his side project Mank Rage had some very good rhythm guitars.
Also, let me say: his guitar in SFTD is actually kinda cool. Yes, the mixing is clearly a knock at Slash with the levels, but I really like the rhythm guitar there.
That was bad mixing. Robin's guitar was all over the place too. The three guitar mix were always hard for the band.
Very interesting. It's an impressive feat he managed to talk to Paul at all, let alone about this subject. Tavana says he wrote for several media outlets, so I guess he's credible with his credentials.
If i remember correctly, the rythm guitar in sftd is slash's and paul is playing only the solo overdubs

Well - we hey played stuff from Houston/Mexico 2016 so they have more to show from those gigs at least.
I actually thought SOYL sounded really pretty good. The others.....not so much!
Agree SOYL is actually quite good in terms of vocals (albeit too fast), BHS is better than some 2017/18 renditions. LnLD is awful (at least vocals)

A new song hardskool? Or deep cut like dead horse, perfect crime. Night train or you could be mine.
Tokio 92 was opened with Nightrain.
How about As It Began followed by Black Leather, BMK, DotF, IDCAY or Nice Boys. Or Quick Song or Zodiac 13?

Forgot how badly Slash just noodled his way through the TIL solo in 2016
This solo was quite OK, enjoyable. Thogh I agree that Slash in general did not do justice to TIL.

Sorry to say but you guys sound like a bunch of haters. The Download video is cool, mix is great, band is tight, Slash is awesome and well yes, Axl does not sound like 1988 or 1992 or even 2016 but he still sings better than most vocalists and the crowd obviously enjoys is. If you guys have problem with this, why don't you forget about GNR and move to another band? This is something I really don't get.
You can F?!* OFF and buy something from the New Age section.
The "New Album" Thread. Thanks to the long ass thread, I’m going home!
