No way in HELL is the DOORS an overated band. I own most of there albums, and they are all great. Jim Morrison was a great poet, and thats what most of his music was. Great Poetry. That is why I like it. The Stones are a classic rock band, that is hard to match, but the Doors are most definetly not overated, nor horrible.

actually jim kept his lyrics and his poetry very seperate.

"but, she's no drag just watch the way she walks"

  2. before there was pearl jam there was mother love bone, and there was really nothing after mother love bone.

    kurt was right

  3. judge a band by who wears their tshirts? that is really wise...and who is to say that these people aren't fans? "kelly clarkson has a gnr shirt on, shes such a poser"

you like those songs don't you? why can't she?

i listen to the fucking beach boys

  4. thank you war pig

You actually took a listen ? :) Anyone else please ? I need to hear your opinions on this song and tell me it's not good :krider:

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

    i listened, i loved, i relate

  5. That's another thing I don't like... this whole image/competition with other rapper/ fight shit. It's stupid with any band (Axl vs. Vince). What's with this crap? Music isn't a competition. It's not a fecking game. It just seems like there's so much of it in rap. There's enough bullshit in the world, and especially enough in fucking high school. I want to leave the drama behind me when I listen to music, not add to it.

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

that's battle rap dude, it isn't supposed to be taken seriously...it's all over this board...

  6. i honestly think a lot of hatred for rap comes from a hate for "black people"( dont worry admin...you aint got to spend any of that donated money, i edited myself ;) ).

  7. my dislike for em started when he was "beefing" with ICP...i mena..come on, it was a good dis, but its reaching for lyrics...i listen to the slim shady LP...that is all

    edit: brotha lynch hung !

    immortal technique

    fuck you

and for all you eminem dissers, im not a fan either...but listen to "if i had"

    he is hip hop

  9. I don't like hip-hop

    reasons:

I personally think its sounds shit, also i don't respect the artists as alot of them do not write their own material.  Although i do acknowledge that the professional people that DO write the songs behind the scenes ARE talented. Also i find Hip-Hop sexist, all those film clips, very deorgritory to women.

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Sexists??? Derogitory to women??? But yet you like Guns N Roses.

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

    thank you

  10. some of you may have read my opinion already (if you are part of thegreatbelow)

here is my thought (copied and pasted here :P)

That song is one of my favourites from the album.. I don't know what it is but it stood out from from the rest during the first listening of the cd.

I am not sure what to say about the video. I think it may be to "artsy" (for lack of a better word) for the public. (but then again you get the feeling that none of the videos really are) One part I enjoyed is when his hand was against that device (forgetting that spikey things name)

I think a song that holds alot of passion like this one deserves a video with the same amount... but this video just doesn't deliver. I don't think it would make a first time listener of the song won over because the video draws emotion from the song making it rather just some person singing and not a person singing with passion (if that made sense)

This was totaly not what I pictured in my head as a video when I first heard the song....

I give this video a meh (I don't love and I don't fully hate it)

(it may eventually grow on me)

id like to reach up your ass and grab your colon, then pullit out and punch through your skull...you get my meaning?
