I haven't listened to any of the new GVF songs but I've read that the new album has a different sound. If I didn't like their earlier stuff, should I bother checking out their new album?

I like Dirty Honey, I am not finding this new album much of anything that has really taken them to any kind of other level (and still prefer the previous cd). With the new GVF album, man it really depends on what you didn't like about them. If you don't like his voice, you probably won't like anything. If you're not a huge fan of the zeppelin style, you might like this more. To me, its more prog, epic sounding (like a bit harder Rush if that makes sense). But with GVF, you either hate them, or think they might be one of the best bands going.

I thought so to first go, but then I realized how fucking good songs like Stardust Chords actually is. Only song I don't like is My Way Soon (just feels so fucking odd on this album). Sounds more like it would've fit on From the Fires EP.

Tears of rain really grew on me, wasn't a fan until the second time, read the words, then I gave it props (albeit different than what they've done considering its more of a ballad.

I mean for like 20-24 year olds..........which I feel gets over looked now a days, this is a pretty fucking solid 2-3rd album. Not sure why my way soon is even on this, feels really out of place.....everything else feels so much more grand......then there's that.

That was a solid fucking journey of an album.
