I always assumed Izzy enjoyed it until the St Louis incident. He never was a wild man onstage. I think if that would have not occurred Izzy would have at the very least stayed on for another leg.

My dream scenario is they give Axl 6 months or a year to get his body and voice back in shape and then do a show or two with the Appetite 5, record it, release it as a live album and then retire GNR for good. Way too much money on the table to do this. Slash and duff can say they are in it for the music but when you are playing 500 seat clubs in duffs case and 3000 seat theaters in slash’s case breaking even at best. It’s in their best interest to keep this train going. If the band actually did what was in the fans best interest…nevermind it’s all been said a million times.

Ughhhh. I just realized they dropped dead horse and added patience at the met life show. Going to be absolutely bummed if that is a permanent change. Dead horse was the main reason I bought tickets.

I think it may be permanent cause absurd > dead horse will kill the momentum for the casual fan.
