Wouldn't surprise me if it's Richard and the solo section is the pair of them 'duelling' before Slash gets the spotlight nearer the end

I've got this impression too, it doesn't sound quite like Robin... Maybe we can figure it out later with a good stereo track.

Also, I miss Robin's lead following Axl's melody. Why is Slash's guitar so low in the verses? Or is that Richard doing the Sweet Home Alabama thing? Lol

I believe Josh was 97-99 and Bucket was early 2000-2004ish. I don’t think they overlapped there. Josh was leaving as Bucket was being recruited but someone feel free to correct if this is wrong.

    You're right.

"I told Buckethead, 'Listen, I don't want you to take this job. Me being your friend out here, as soon as you sign a contract, a month later, I'll go, 'See you guys.' I might not be here in a couple of months. I don't want you to think that I'm abandoning you, I'm giving you this information upfront.'"

Not nessecarily. Look at Absurd. Wasn't that written by Dizzy and Pitman.

I'm just guessing here, but I assume a "Robin's song" would be like Better, 50% his. I don't think they would take his right to 50% to split it between Slash and Duff. Unless they change chord progression/song structure/etc. But what do I know, right.

Unfortunately, they were not downloaded by any of us over at A4D.

That's a shame, I think it was the most informative Richard could ever get. He also said that his favorite unreleased track was a Robin's song. Probably we'll never hear it, 'cause I doubt Axl/Slash/Duff would give in 50% of the royalties to a former member.

Just an apropos to all the discussion on whether Axl ever recorded new vocals after the release of CD: In November 2014, Richard explicitly stated that Axl was in the studio that specific week to record new vocals.

Do you have the transcription of that "intimate" workshop in Sydney with Richard? 'Cause I've never found the video of it and I guess I never will.

    Hard Skool

Liner notes: Similarly to Absurd, on the various platforms (Spotify, etc.) the song is credited collectively to "Guns N' Roses". However, according to the press release issued by the band, it was written by Axl.

Publishing/royalty shares: The song hasn't been added to any repertory yet. But, based on the press release and what happened with Absurd, it's likely that only Axl, Slash and Duff will be listed as writers/royalty recipients - which means that it won't appear on ASCAP, since none of Axl/Slash/Duff is represented by them.

Hard Skool has been added to ASCAP

Is it any possibility to have Robin over for an interview??

What has he been doing lately? I know that he was to release a solo album, but never heard any more of that...

Last year he announced he was opening a video game studio (yes)

    https://www.gamesradar.com/why-spec-ops-the-lines-creative-director-and-a-nine-inch-nails-guitarist-are-opening-their-own-game-studio-eyes-out/

It really seems that a solo project isn't in his plans anymore.

Anyway, it would be fantastic an interview with Robin by a GnR fan, 'cause no one asks him about his time in the band.
