Slash gets my vote easily, I prefer him over Randy anytime. I'm just not a big fan of Randy's playing. He gets too much love IMO.
And I'm not familiar with Zakk's work besides Ozzy's "No More Tears".

Eddie easily. He was much more innovative and influential.
I think Randy is overpraised because he died young (as it's a case with many musicians). And RR was more derivative than innovative, because that playing style was already established by guys like Blackmore, Schenker and Uli Jon Roth (who all get less credit than him) plus Eddie.

Which tune titled "Rock Botom" do you prefer between these two and why?
I'm going with UFO easily. Schenker's playing (esp. on the live album Strangers in the Night) makes a significant difference to me.

Both very good, but UYI II is a bit stronger.

GnR gets my vote easily. Personal preference.
I like Metallica but I love GnR. Iron Maiden is probably the only 80's band I would rank above Gunners.
And I have to agree that Metallica was stylistically more original, groundbreaking and influential band than Guns.

1. Appetite for Destruction - one of the best hard rock albums and one of the best rock debuts
2. Use Your Illusion II
3. Use Your Illusion I
4. Lies
Not a fan of Spaghetti and CD in general, but some songs are fine.

Far from the most underrated, but IMO they are kinda underrated despite being very successful.
So many people tend to write off their material after Appetite. I find both Illusion albums to be quite underappreciated. They are not as strong as Appetite but they are still great and diverse rock classics with some of their best songs.

Van Halen is a legendary American rock band for a reason. Their debut was very original and innovative hard rock.
But I prefer GnR and I think they were better songwriters but VH had superior musicianship mostly due to Eddie.

Wow, 8:4 for Metallica. I didn't expect that.

Maiden and Metallica are two giants from the 80's metal music scene.
Which band do you prefer and why?
And which bassist would you pick: Burton or Harris?- 1
Slash vs. Zakk Wylde vs. Randy Rhoads

I would never deny this. But I'm not a fan of his playing style because it sounds 'artificial' and mechanical to me rather than emotive. I think Slash has a much better sense of melody than RR, because his approach to the guitar is more 'natural' and emotive to my ears.
