  1. Back when I was younger and didn't quite have an understanding of what good music was, I bought a Creed CD...Now I hide drugs in it, because I know NO ONE will ever touch that CD

  2. Your messed up...Everything before the Black Album was gold. Every album had a new sound, they were taking their music in a new direction everytime. Then Bob Rock stepped in the picture and turned everyhting to shit. Everything sounded the same after that, it's boring. Then just when you think they couldn't get any worse St. Anger was released. It's a good thing they've that Bob Rock isn't there anymore, but I think they're lost without him, a perfect example is the 2 new tracks they were playing last year.

  3. Airbourne are awesome. I saw them play earlier this year at a music festival, I think they had more of an audience than Silverchair did (who were headlining). As cheesy as they may seem, they really put on an awesome show. I would see them again in a heartbeat

  4. I'm not sure if he writes all the lyrics in stonesour.. but the lyrics to some of their songs, like Bother, Through the glass, and zzyzx Road are very great ballads and very emotinal songs, that anybody can relate to.. not to mention the only ballad slipknot has, vermillion part 2

Vermillion Part2 (it's slipknot but trust me, it doesnt even sound like them)

Please, listen to 'em... I think if you havent heard them, you'll be real surprised, and unless you cant get passed what he's done in slipknot, you'll agree with me that they're agreat band.. Corey is very talented.

Those songs are brilliant because Corey wrote them all himself, he actually specialises in ballads rather than heavy rock songs, and I've read an interview somewhere, where he has said he couldn't write any other style if his life depended on it...

Also, I'm seeing Stone Sour in 2 weeks in Sydney!!! rock3 rock3 rock3

  5. Possibly one of the worst bands in history, along with KoRn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Nickelback and whatever other untalented 'musicians' I can't think of at the moment. I hate these guys witha passion...Just my opinion :chef:

  6. GUNS N' ROSES Guitarist BUMBLEFOOT Seeks Help In Designing New Guitar

New GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal is seeking fan assistance in designing his new guitar, dubbed "Foot Guitar Version 2.0." If you'd like to be the designer of the Foot Guitar Version 2.0, send your designs, drawings, photos, ideas to Footguitarv2@vigierguitars.com. Patrice Vigier from Vigier Guitars and Thal will choose the guitar design from all submissions, and the guitar will be unveiled in 2007. "Two of the guitars will be made — one for me, one for the designer," says Thal. "But maybe, if the guitar is really cool, it'll go into production, made available to all..."

  8. How many sleepless nights have new parents spent trying to soothe a restless newborn? With the August 29 release of "Lullaby Renditions of Metallica", a solution is on the way. Enter Sandman.

That's right, the music that set the standard for aggressive, concussion-inducing rock will soon be lulling infants to sleep through dreamy re-workings of their head-banging fury. Classics like "Battery" and "Master of Puppets" feature glockenspiel, vibraphone, melotron, harps, bells and more. The music is arranged and performed by Michael Armstrong.

Part of the Rockabye Baby! series from Baby Rock Records, the METALLICA edition includes 11 of the band's most well-known songs. For those who grew up cranking "...And Justice for All" until their ears bled, it's a chance to share with a new generation the music of a band that's sold 29 million albums. At appropriate volume levels, of course.

Due on August 29, the METALLICA version is one of the first three releases in the series, along with albums of RADIOHEAD and COLDPLAY renditions. Future releases will focus on music from TOOL, THE CURE, NIRVANA, PIXIES, BJORK, PINK FLOYD, THE EAGLES, LED ZEPPELIN, THE BEATLES, THE BEACH BOYS, NO DOUBT, SMASHING PUMPKINS, and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE.

Children's music is the fastest growing musical category. The Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions series is targeting today's parents with today's tastes in a way that's gentle enough for even the youngest listener.

The albums will be available both in the respective artist's bin and "Children's Music" bin at retailers. Visit www.babyrockrecords.com for additional information and sound clips.

Those fucking greedy pigs just keep on finding ways to make money! FUCK Metallica :fuckyou:

ummm.....it's not Metallica that are doing this, it's another person using Metallica songs. Even though they'll get some royalties, as if they're gonna make any money from it.

  10. I have both the "alive or just breathing" and "The End of Heartache" albums.....I've only really listened to Alive or just Breathing, and I like it alot....favorite songs - My Last Serenade and Life To Lifeless

  11. Seen both live, and they both kicked arse....If I had to choose it would come down to the toss of a coin, but even then I would be disappointed that I was missing out on the other.
