  1. [i was in the middle of the floor, but that didn't even come close to the Albany show...that was special.  Possibly going to Philly Fri. night...

Yeah, Albany was special, he sounded better than when I saw him in Las Vegas last year...  Albany is bound to be a classic show, and a few people got the show on tape...

I'm going to Philly on Friday, and maybe to the Sunday show...

I'm sure Axl will top himself at the Garden...  can't wait!

  2. It's definetely Albany,NY.  I was there floor-center- front row.  The best show I've seen with the new line up.  I bought it too even if it's not pro-shot I need to have something from that show...

The audio was excellent, Axl's voice sounded clear and powerful in every song...  it will be a classic show...

  3. It kicked ass indeed!!!  I didn't expect it to be that good, I just went because of the general admission floor...  I'm so glad I did...  I don't know how he's going to top this at the Garden... but I know he will and I'll be there!! ;)

  4. A good mix, actually.  I met people on their 30's, 20's, and teens.

I was surprised to see so many young people (teens).  I've been to other concerts of 80's artists and the crowd is mostly 30-something.

But I guess that's a good thing, they're carying the torch for future generations. :)

  5. I have  two, and only wear them on special occasions.  One is the Live Era '87-'93 with the round logo in the back, and the other one has the new logo and a pair of dice from the New Year's Eve show in Las Vegas.

I also have GnR patches on jeans and jackets.

  6. AXL - needless to say

    Slash - he's the man

Buckethead - amazing to have them both onstage

    Izzy - lyrics

    Duff - looks good onstage

    Matt - no contest

    Dizzy -original keyboards

and that other keyboard guy (chris) to help out

    VEGAS

I've seen them on ebay for over $100.  I bought two in Vegas, one for me and another for a friend.  Now I wish I would have bought more.  It would have made a good business.  ;)

  7. Ok, this is sad but I'll help you out and reply to your posting.

It was in the late 80's, I was in High School in New York.  I heard Sweet Child of Mine and completely blew me away.  Then when I saw them on TV, I knew I'll be a fan forever.  I remember being at the record store faced with the dilemma of getting Appetite in vinyl or cassette.  I chose the cassette.  (yeah, I'm that old  ;D)

  8. I'm a woman so I'll denitely go with Axl.  There's no other musician out there that I like remotely as much.

But if you give me the choice of Brad Pitt...

nah, I'd still go with Axl.

My question:  can I have an advance copy of Chinese Democracy?

    VEGAS

Anybody saw the guy with the Use Your Illusion tatoo... really cool.

Going back to the balloon...  sorry if I blocked anyone's view, but I was using it to shield from Robin's sprinkles.  Why he had to spit so much?   :P
