atleast consider the peavey 5150. Go try it out in a store if possible. It's all tube, wich in my opinion is better, vs. the marshall who is not.
Don't just buy the marshall because it's a marshall.

Dude, get a Fender Strat, better than overpriced crappy Gibson.
And if your starting out get a Squier Strat, and a little Solid State amp i reconmend the Roland Cube 30

wow, great advice there
Have you even played a Gibson?
he already said he's not starting out.

Are you able to try them out before you buy them? if so, buy the one that feels the best and sounds the best. and try it out an a amp that i similar to the one you have.
It also depends on what sound you're looking for. the Gibson has hotter pickups, and will give you better distortion in my opinion.
and also, what kinda amp do you have?

i have played them both at a guitar center by my house and i love em both. i have a Line 6 Spider II 120watt(that is better than any other amp ever built) and i have played them both off that type of amp.

well then it's up to you to decide. get the one you like the best(duh!).
Personally i'd get the les paul because of the 22 frets and hotter pickups.

He wrote music that was ahead of his time, he could manipulate a concert by only hearing it played once, his improvision was unheard of, ect.

exactly!
Druid, i suggest you go listen to one of his concerts to see what he's really about.

Don't get a marshall MG-series! theyre absolutely horrible, in my opinion. get a used peavey 5150 combo. they go for about 600 $ on ebay.

I like Mark Knophler's guitar playing

On this site you find great les paul copies with nearly the same specs as the gibsons, but at a much lower price

You're a horrible comedian...

It all depends on taste but I like the Les Paul better, it just has more beef

"Fast" Eddie Clark does not get enough attention in my opinion.

Yes, the Tonepros will fit your guitar.
You'll also be needing a tailpiece, like this one: click
-
depends on what you have now...
-
No problem
-
It depends on how much you use the amp, but every year or two should do it.
-
It could have something to do with your guitar, maybe fretbuzz. If thats the problem, take your guitar to a guitar technician and have it set up.....if the amp is the problem, it might have something to do with your tubes. When was the last time you changed your tubes?

Røyksopp, an electronica band, but they moved out of town...
By the way, I'm from Tromsø in norway

Behringer V-Amp 2
I'm probably gonna get the standard Crybaby, but I can't decide between that and this:
Dunlop Crybaby (Dimebag model)
Has anyone here ever played on both and have any recomendations?
Dont get the V-amp, it sucks. Try the Line 6 POD range
get the dimebag wah, its really good

I dont know, but a regular boss Chorus pedal will do the job
-
I think it's an Yamaha AES series.

50's neck: thick and wide
60's neck: slimmer and more narrow than the 50's neck

A guy I know plays in a local band here, and he's about 16. He got his LP from his uncle who had it just sitting in his basement, anyway his uncle played in a band waaaay back in the 60s and the guitar he gave this guy was a 1965 Black Beauty with all the original electronics and paint and everything, untouched basically. And I played it on more than one occasion. I drool everytime I pick it up.
u sure its a '65 black beauty?
