I know he sings a few songs live but I'd hardly regard him as the frontman of the band.

I'm using frontman in the term as the front of the band, the person everyone knows out of that band, such as every fucker knows Gene Simmons out of kiss, so to many people he is seen as their front man.

The question wasn't vocalist, it was frontman.

Grew up on Thin Lizzy, Zepp & Fleetwood Mac off my father. My eldest brother (16 years ahead) followed on and got into GN'R around the time I was 4/5, got crazy video's of my as a kid doing the snake dance for SCOM, and me at Donnington for MOR..

Went through High School, stuck with me.. lost them between 13-16 when I got into the dance/hardcore scene with coke, smoke and trainspotting, went through rehab, and when I came out found that I was once again (and happily) an insomniatic outcast.

Thus GN'R returned.

Brought in Justin's guitar tech as new bassist, not breaking up.

And I can't believe some fucker said Queen were a joke band, one of the greatest bands that ever strolled this earth (5th best - Zepp, GN'R, Stones, Who, Queen) to have a fresh dynamic when they appeared, pretty much solely creating the glam rock/hair metal genre.

Think of another 'joke band' that created a genre.

Same here - I'm in the West Yorkshire area and need a drummer and singer. Specifically for a classic/hard rock band, influenced by GnR and Van Halen etc. I've got some material already written and a Marshall stack, all the recording gear. We just need the members to get off the ground.
