The whole reason Axl is no longer working with Slash, Duff and Matt is because their music is heading in different directions, therefore, I don't think there will be any direct influence at all.

I hope they are both brilliant albums which I am sure they will be and the only thing that would be better would be 1 brilliant album by the "proper" GN'R - here's wishing!

There has been a lot of debate of whether Axl can sing the old shit live...I saw him in Chicago and that was some rockin stuff, but others aren't convinced, because all they heard was bootlegs and shit. But i've heard some pretty bad shit from Axl, i'm just hoping he can sing the new stuff even more rockin than the older stuff. release indeed....

Don't get me wrong, I think Axl is awesome but his live voice has always been pretty hit and miss anyway so I can't see it gettin' any better. Some of the live recordings available from the Use Your Illusion tours are shocking!

Has anyone seen any good GN'R tribute bands lately as I saw UK Guns N' Roses last Friday night and they were amazing!

Unless I had seen it, I wouldn't believe that someone could look and sound that much like Axl - he must have watched the videos and DVD's a million times coz he had every move spot on and as for Slash, well, the guy was note perfect - what more can you say!

Although it wasn't the biggest show in the World (about 100 - 150 people I guess), the concert had a real energy to it and in these times when all we are able to see is Axl and his hired hands (which may well sound brilliant but it's not GN'R) you could do a whole lot worse than go check these guys out.

I find I always hit the 'skip' button on my CD player when 'my world' comes on - the only GNR song to date that I can't get on with.

Me too - it's not really a GN'R track though as it doesn't even have a guitar in it!!! A complete waste of a track and a let down on what is otherwise the best album ever!
