  2. Ofcourse not... I MEAN OFCOURSE!!!

    Just think about it:

    (new)GnR = Axl, Izzy, Dizzy

    VR = Slash, Duff, Matt

    Both would have half of the UYI line-up... IZZY coming back should end the "not the legit-GNR" bullshit. Besides IZZY was always the unsung hero of the original line-up, an amazing songwriter

  3. I Believed in what mr Rose said: "people will hear music this year"

    Well, it seems... that its bullshit... :(

    Anyway, dont care much about the release date no more... december 06, spring/summer 07, 2008... whatever... If it comes out, great, if not who really cares????

  4. You're an IDIOT!!!! People celebrate anniversary's to reminisce; it's not the same band, why would Axl want to time it to a date that would celebrate an album the OLD MEMBERS created? Seriously, this album was supposed to be out in 2000, so Axl wasn't planning back then on a 2007 release...

    I hate these dumb idiots and how they forgive Axl for lying and then attach to some date in the future and rationalize why then would be the perfect time to release it.

    If the original band were still together, the 20 year date would mean a lot...but now it doesn't mean shit. It's just an indication of how retarded it is that Axl Rose, 20 yaers later, has yet to grow up one bit.

    Yet the "NEW"-Gnr plays atleast 8 songs from appetite every fucking night... and all in all they play 20-24 songs.. go figure...

  5. FIRST THING FIRST...

    3 tuesdays left before 07... 2 tuesdays left before christmas...

    17 working days left before 07... 12 working days left before christmas...

    And itd be baaaad business from any band out there to put a new album out between christmas and new year. If it is this year it HAS to come out before christmas...

    But i believe 2007 is the year

    I think it makes all the fucking sense that Axl puts CD out next year on the 20th anniversary of Appetite...

    And if CD fails to be a huge album, GNR could easily promote the shows with both the new album and the celebration of Appetite for destruction. I mean Metallica did just that this summer in Europe with Puppez...

  6. I mean come on, only four songs out of 30 are being played. Well okay, all four are played each night, but WTF, two covers (Live & Let die, KOHD) and two obvious smash hits (YCBM & November rain) and thats it?

    We all know that theres so much more to "Use your Illusion"s than just those songs;

    "Dont cry"(fuck the Bumblefoot "solo"), "Civil war", "Estranged", "The Garden", "Garden of eden"... the list goes on. Some of these songs could well work with the new material, and some of them would be full-on straight forward adrenaline rush rocknroll... not to mention most of them being big hits aswell...

    In comparison they play 8-10 songs from "Appetite" each night, and songs like "Think about you" or "My michelle" are indeed fan favourites but hardly smash hits or songs that a wider audience would like to hear instead of say "Dont cry" or "Civil war".

    The setlists during this tour have been GREAT, but not surprising at all, especially if you think what theyve played from UYIs.

    Or might AXL just be afraid how the not-so-familiar UYI songs get across... But that cant be since theyre playin the new songs...

    So PLEASE play MY WORLD atleast just once...

    Just my toughts tough...

  7. Axl promised to drop in new songs into the set when the band returns to the states. We gotta believe new song/songs will be played, cause this same dude happens to be the guy who promised that Chinese Democracy comes out this year :rofl-lol: . Besides itd be cool to hear some new shit since all the leaks(except CITR, which would definetely rock live) have been played live already.

  8. "If you can´t play live, you´re fucked up!"

    In other words; theres no way in hell that any of the bands that are on top of the charts today would have any relevance 20 years on... Black eyed peas doing a sold out Europe+UK tour in 2026? My ass....

  9. I think it would make some sense (if anything in the world of GnR makes any sense these days) that theyd put out just an EP(4-6 tracks) this year as a taster to see the public reaction. If critics and fans alike would be dissapointed, Axl could always talk it off by saying it wasnt an actual album. This would also give them an opportunity to "perfect"(again) the final album. Besides an EP could be sold at a cheaper price than a full-length, and thatd most definetely increase the sales(= better chart position btw...). As we all must understand "People will hear music this year" doesnt have to mean a full-length album or CD... And since its 20 years from GnR´s first release(which was also an EP), in the middle of all these different conspiracy theories itd make perfect sense to me if theyd put out an EP this year. Besides thatd add some symmetry to GnRs career... :P

    Oh, and 2007 would be the PERFECT year to release a full-lenght album/CD, cause then its 20 years from the release of a certain album.... :rofl-lol: rock1

  10. Let´s face it; Chinese Dem is the only new song that is a true straight-to-the-fng-point all out rocker.

    Maddy, IRS, TWAT and all the other "new" songs we´ve heard so far are all amazing, but they are huge epics not street-level rock like AFD. And that kind of stuff was what got me into GnR in the first place. For example TWAT sounds like UYI stuff with modern production. Thats not a bad thing, but if the new album totally lacks agressive in your face hard rock, its just not going to be enough...
