  1. some facts:

the venue is the "palais omnisport de paris bercy" often just called "bercy".it's a 18,000 to 20,000 capacity place.GNR played there on july 13, 1993.there's a lot of hotels (most of them rather cheap) nearby.

if you stay in paris for a couple of days ,do the sights, taste french wines and "cognac"(real name for brandy).french reallly like to meet foreigners (france is the most visited country in the world) and girls here are rather...hum...

don't forget to visit Pigalle(Paris legendary red district)with the moulin rouge(rather expensive).nearby ,there's also some hotter places...but i won't tell more 'cause i just don't wanna be banned from this forum and it's bad to go there. ;)

  2. that is pretty messed up, he always says something to diss the previous nites crowd, at the beginning of the 14th show, he said that crowd was better then the Friday crowd, I actually felt somewhat offended as I was at the Friday show,,, I wonder what he is going to say Wedensday to praise that crowd and somewhat diss the other nites fans....

    Boo-fucking-hoo!! :fuckyou:

Singers and frontmen do that to make the crowd they're performing to feel special...

yeah dude, just like we tell new girlfriends they're so much better than other past girls

    Kannon.

    exactly !

  3. i know axl has said that the european crowds are more accepting of the new band, and i'm sure that's true, but this time around, with the arenas and all the festivals, how many are actually expecting to see the classic line-up at the shows and will be disappointed, no matter how good the music is? i've talked to a few people about gnr coming to europe, and most of them were like "oh really? cool dude! i love their music" and didn't seem to be able to grasp the fact that slash is gone, it's just not something they have occupied their minds with. would you say most people know who they are buying tickets to see? (the irony is we don't excactly either, with this new player ;))

it seems that a lot of people here in Europe are expecting to see the 1991 line-up .

  4. Here's a hypothetical question.

Would you feel cheated, if you go to the NY shows, and it IS the original band?? Honestly.

I won't be attending the shows due to location but yes i would!

Some of us have become used to current GnR and want to see them live -some of us have and they rocked rock3

sure i ain't gonna feel cheated !! it would be a fucking great surprise ! but i think that the "gnr" that we will see will be axl and some guys covering gnr songs !

i don't give a shit about this so-called "new gnr "(how can it be new it was formed ten years ago !)that hasn't been able to release an album in ten years ...while the real gnr released two albums the same day in 1991 .

i've been a fan since 1987 and,for me gnr is axl, slash, duff, izzy and steve (or matt ,i don't mind that much about drumers).

Don't give me that Traci Gunns crap. NOBODY gave a flying fuck about Traci Gunns or Hollywood Rose back during Pre-appetite era.

    damn right !
