  1. Just got back from the gig and I have to say that there is a lot more to expect tomorrow because this only made something like 7 out of 10. The opening three songs got the people going but after that It just wasn't like the old days anymore (and this was rudely borrowed from the Smiths). I was standing just next to the mixbooth and for my opionion they could have turned the volume up but they only did it for the last 30 minutes or so. Volume was was quite too quiet all the time, just can not get why. Also Axl's great voice could not be heard properly, I hope they do something about it tomorrow.

Obviously somebody has done some homework because Finlandia was played by Finck and Dizzy tried to play something that sounded like "Don't you ever leave me" by Hanoi Rocks. Should stick with the original tempo, Andy got it all right mr. Reed (with all respect). Everybody played great, have to say that also the new stand-in drummer is a one hell of a player.

Main thing for my opinion is that the feel of danger which is so essential to rock'n roll wasn't there at anymore. Seeing it from 50m away it was more like a Las Vegas show. entertaining but not something that you would consider a great gig. I made my way to the front row during the paradise city but it did not get any better.

Some touble also during the gig, couldn't quite get the reason but Axl got pissed off cos somebody was tellin' him to fuck off. If I can remember he told them to fuck off cos all the others were havin' great time. Also a small rant about what happened in Sweden but could not get it cos the volume was so fuckin' quiet. You really should have a pro behind that mixbooth.

Glad to see that people are quite familiar with the new songs, saw people singing along with all of them. Strange but those who were even not in the standing area seemed to know the lyrics.

Can not quite put my finger on it but something is missing from the band at the moment. And I don't mean the guy with the big black hat.

  5. I dont think it is possible for you to be more of a useless human being.

For you to (a) go to a Finnish hockey game (B) live in Finland © run home to your computer to talk about how a GNR song was played on the speakers --- tells me you are nothing but a low life morsel of a man.

I am rich, yes.. but I also have dignity -- obviously you have none or you would not blatantly state "I am a walking pussy" by telling your tale of GNR songs at a finland hockey game.

    Sincerely,

    Theodore W. Dibiase

Porvoo and dignity in same view, glad you edited your profile...

I.R.S was not played completely cause those two sucking teams decided to continue playing, I would have preferred music

  6. Got general admission tickets.

About the black market: Imagine you pay 400 € for ticket, and they cancel (which could happen).

    You get 54 € refund...

Anyone got any requests/ideas for the supporting acts? I'd like to see Hanoi Rocks tearing the place apart before Guns but that's something not so likely to happen.

  7. Just got back from a finnish ice-hockey league match. Game itself was a downer but during second period small parts of better, I.R.S (and wttj) were played. Don't know if it was just a co-incidence but the game got more intense just after those.

A huge hand to our friends from Espoo whom I think might have something to do with this.

I even forgive you having that pussy-ass Kariya (if you are supporters of Blues)

  8. Ooookaaay...

See now the last time I checked Europe was the old continent... And I don't even want to make this about politic or the fact that yours is at the state of an unstable teenager. So just... Ignore that. And I'll ignore you.

You shouldn't speak of matters you clearly know nothing about (scandinavia). <_<

Even though it's difficult to read your broken English friend i get the feeling that you seriously think that Scandinavia is up there with the UK and US when it comes to current music trends and choice of live concerts? Kindly prove your point then, b/c having been all over Europe including Sweden and Finland i know for a fact that you guys are totally way behind. I mean look at all the glam rockers still prancing about in Helsinki and Stockholm. Not to mention that you guys still think death and black metal is cutting edge! :rofl-lol: I'm not flaming Scandinavia, i'm merely pointing out what i have seen with my own eyes... now feel free to prove otherwise. rock1

you are absolutely right, we are totally way behind. I know that because I'm only just starting to burn my Beatles records
