got a friend who's a singer in an ac/dc tribute band (www.alexsure.com) ... he's curious to know which microphone johnson is rocking...

he just bought the electro-voice N/D767a... pretty good but he's been thinking the N/D967 is just that little bit better...

any advice guys?

and then me ... i have an array of filmmaking equiptment ... and a studio at my disposal....

there is no contest... their debut had classics like Mama Kin and Dream On... songs that have lasted over 30yrs...

i doubt vr will ever achieve anything close... imo their an overated garage band

Tyler at least can sing... has a great range.... Perry has a lot of talent ... and their rhythm section kicks ass... 70-78 classic stuff...

i'm not the biggest beatle fan in the world (macca makes me gag!)... but i've always enjoyed lennon's contribution... and his voice for me was the most emotive... raw... just the best...

i love his solo stuff... 'working class hero - the definative collection'... is out now - if you havent indulged in him before...

also the ray coleman bio... gives a fantastic insight into the complex... captivating genius...

and if you have some time check out his literary works... he certainly had a way with words...
