  1. 'break on through... to the other side...' D

when younger... felt like i was awoken from a deep sleep... fired me up... settled me... spoke to me of a reality, before i could never understand...

so its ok to be me? ok... cool... honest music...

  2. read his posts carefully again.............

and for those of you thinking I am going to be sitting home while all this is going on?

forget it, I have tickets for all four shows, and will summon security on ANY pirating that I happen to see

from my vantage point........not the Mezz!

And as Jim Morrison once said "It's easier to be hated"

    I'm in GOOD company.............

    that Dammned Warchild

You quote Jim Morrison, but I bet you're exactly the sort of prize twat he would hate.

You think he would be the person to be on the authorities side? No he would do things to piss them off.

You quote these people fooling yourself that you're remotely like them, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Hopefully if you grass on people the security will treat you like the little piss ant you are and throw you out.

Monsieur Mojo Risin' stood for a lot of things... and if i'm not mistaken took a keen interest in...

'anything about revolt, disorder, chaos-especially activity that seems to have no meaning...' JM

somehow i think WC has a degree in those things...

more lizard king than your littlehead... could ever comprehend

  7. it is a grower... i love the album vibe now... very chilled. you can feel the influence of jpj more... you can sense the 'arms of morpheus' were taking pagey away... its great in its own way...

the rain song is just breathtaking...

'These are the seasons of emotion and like the winds they rise and fall

This is the wonder of devotion - I see the torch we all must hold.

This is the mystery of the quotient - Upon us all a little rain must fall....' LZ

  8. hi,

its been a while since i've been behind a camera (film making) and i need to get back in the saddle - so to speak...

i'm london based and i'm looking for any musicians or bands to film... just for some 'testing'... and also possibly for mini documentaries etc...

    anyone up for it?

if you'd like more info - just get in touch.

    :)

  9. "It matters not

    Who you love

    Where you love

    Why you love

    When you love

    Or how you love

It matters only that you love." JL

i'm not the biggest beatle fan in the world (macca makes me gag!)... but i've always enjoyed lennon's contribution... and his voice for me was the most emotive... raw... just the best...

i love his solo stuff... 'working class hero - the definative collection'... is out now - if you havent indulged in him before...

also the ray coleman bio... gives a fantastic insight into the complex... captivating genius...

and if you have some time check out his literary works... he certainly had a way with words...

peace and love as mantra cant be a bad thing...

  10. ... its one of those classic songs... completely enhanced by that 2nd solo... Gilmour drips in this eerie... operatic and beautiful melancholy vision...

*i thought this topic would be about which version of CN was better (i.e. scissor sisters..) personally there is no contest Pink Floyd will always be more forfilling... inspiring and the delivery on this track is fantastic*

  11. Rocks - is pretty complete - perfect even... saddle... last child...

my fav has to be 'bootleg' though it is their semi-live album containing all the gems and a secret track

draw the line - may sound in parts like a rough demo... but with a cover like that and rocking title track... i am sold

i love tylers voice on their debut 'aerosmith'... but then as username says toys in the attic builds on that ... man i can't chose... everything till 1978 is r+r heaven...
