99X in Atlanta played both clips this morning and talked about GNR for a significant amount of time. No way they get sued over this. Axl would be shooting himself in the foot if he sued the station and then expected airplay when the album comes out...

The guitar work on The Blues always reminded me of that song "Just Like Paradise" by David Lee Roth. Maybe it is just me...

Maybe a song will appear on the "A Scanner Darkly" soundtrack instead of the DVC. I believe the movie is also due out this year and at one point, Radiohead was rumored to be doing the score. This seems like a better fit to me.

Tell that to Limp Bizkit, they put out an album w/zero promotion or release date and it didn't sell at all. I know Limp Bizkit is not GNR in terms of popularity but I'm just saying, no promotion has been tried before and it didn't work.
