i was going to the sacramento show , first they rescheduled and then they cancelled, and originally they had cancelled my show in 2002

i saw velvet revolver at that same venue, and i got a pick from dave and I also met carlos mencia at a stand up show he had there... so who knows what'll happen this time

yeah man definetely that guitar in better, especially in the middle part, goddamn thats awesome, it definetely takes guns n roses to the next level, thats the moment i really said.. yeah slash would not be a part of this, hes just not that out there with the originality , he just plays another style, but buckethead and axl are on other visions i was real pleased

i just wanted to make a thread just for those who have heard the new songs and actually think they are awesome songs, and that these songs have touched them deeply the way the old guns n roses songs did, thats how i really feel with songs like better and catcher in the rye(i havent listened to twat and irs that much)

but i just feel the need to express my feelings here, and that im real happy, its such an inspiration to see this aggressive songs, regardless of whether you like them or not, theyre real ballsy of axl, to make something so different and ORIGINAL

and i cant wait for chinese democracy but at the same time i could wait 5 years more with these 4 songs, im real happy and as a musician im inspired to be aggressive music wise and in my life, i dont know if any of you out there felt that way, but for me these songs have meant a lot

these songs remind me so much of the first time i heard guns n roses, how i was in shock and how much they touched me

Estranged? Get ready to feel let down. I think Estranged was only played a handful of times during the Illusion tours. You might as well expect GNR to play Coma or Locamotion while you're at it. Expect WTTJ, SCOM, Patience, Paradise City, NR, and perhaps either LALD and/or KOHD. Other than that, it should be all new (though I always thought "Yesterdays" would make perfect sense considering the history of Axl and current/former members).

catcher in the rye could be a massive hit im sure, the rest of the songs are a little more complex, but who cares what others think, the new guns n roses to me are awesome, and with those four songs theyve truly touched me, and i could wait another 5 years before the cd came out id be happy because these songs have proved me that axl still has some awesome talent to offer, and i think thats beautiful

but to me all the songs seem to be pretty much done ready to be put on a cd, yeah they might tweak them a bit but theyre pretty much done

listen to better, geez its so well done, same with twat, and irs if anything catcher in the rye could do some more tweaking i guess but not a lot,

musically and lyrically i think its much more special than the other 2, hey jude is great and all and so is hey joe but they just dont go that far in my opinion

i totally agree ... those 2 solos are universal the rest well can vary a lot more... id definetely put crazy train higher up, as well as november rain and sweet child

he just had better guitarists on his side... dio is great too but ozzy is one of the best in metal
