My Favorite: The current line -up seems to have the best chemistry of them all...well since the late 80's line-up.

    6 Better

    7 Richard fortus guitar solo

    8 Live and let die

same set list as in montreal... hope they play rocket queen this time

prostitute and my michelle was on the set list last night...from what i saw on set list Frank had on his drum.....

yeah but these fuckers didnt play it. I hope they'll stop cutting the set

  5. Eh, just got to accept that sometimes the crowd isn't as wild as you'd hope. I never let it get me down, and I've been in some fucking lame crowds. It doesn't stop me from having a good time. Except that one time I got booted from Alice Cooper because people around me were complaining I was standing... :shrugs:

    :tongue2:

  6. Welcome to the jungle http://tweetphoto.com/9861766

looks like the crowds having a great time

    /sarcasm..

seems like theyre looking at a zoo. brazilian crowd is gonna own them.

Crowds at all of these shows are lame, even for the new songs, has nothing to do with the band (other than tonights late start)

I know because I've been there...was there last night and many times in 06/02

Not true of everywhere; the crowd was apeshit in Hamilton, especially for the new songs. Sorry, Better, and TWAT got just as much reaction as Jungle, PC, NR, and SCOM.

i know that the crowd didn't react at all for the songs last night....i was kinda sad....but. hey..Axl can sold out a arena on nostalgia alone...which is kinda of amazing...

I think people reacted quite enough... maybe not enough for what we expected but in the end, montreal was special. I think thats why people didnt really react that loud for new songs. remember they didnt see a uyi tour...

You're probably right, I've never met a crazier GNR fan than myself.

lol...well i felt kinda of a loner last night....seems i was the only one where i was that knew the new songs....and still....that's a whole year since the album came out...you would imagine people know the songs by the time

  8. Thank god. Too bad the show that really matters in the long run is gonna end up only being 2 hours. :(

I truly beleive the show that mattered the most was the one in MTL....He could not fuck up twice in the same city....

Thank god. Too bad the show that really matters in the long run is gonna end up only being 2 hours. :(

euhhh montreal was supposed to be a legendary show. that was THE show of this tour... no toronto. anyway hope hell pay an extra to the venue and play longer and give toronto fan a treat

I'm sorry, poorly worded. I meant to say highest proflie show, as I did earlier. I agree, Montreal was more important, but Toronto is going to get much more publicity. Toronto is twice the size of Montreal, and is one of the biggest concert markets in North America.

And these Estranged posts are getting ridiculous; I want it to be played just as bad as everyone else, but it's crazy that practically every other post is about it...

Toronto twice the size of Montreal????...huh???

    wow...you really know ur geography...

btw...Montreal is way up there...in term of important market....Bell Center is way Bigger than the ACC....can fill 21 200 people during hockey games...which is 2, 3 thousand more than the ACC

  9. here's the only video i was able to record with my i-phone...crappy but...hey....i was caught up in the show...i would have recorded more.

    thanx bro...place seems packed

here,s another short one it's so easy

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wISMxT1Yn1g

yeah the place was 95% sold out......

    i'd say...around 13-14 000 people.....

but the people didn't react to the new stuff.....i felt like a loner while the CD songs was played....but hey...sweet child got the biggest response..

AXL is phenomenon.....such in a good mood....always smiling

  10. i was very sceptikal about AXL'S voice....

i just came back from the show...and man...the guy is 47??????? damn....he sings like the time on the illusion tour...running on stage....damn..he's so in shape..

i talked to alot of people outside the arena and everybody couldn't believed how great his voice sounded....and couldn't believe that the guy was actually 47..hihi

    great show...

    really....

way better than 2002 and a bit more than the 2006 show....

i don't know if the band members are gonna fuck those two georgous girls that was on stage at the end of the show..

  11. Just talked to my friend who worked at GEG..and the show will be sometime in the last week of january..he couldn't tell me which date exactly.....but told me that the tickets goes on sale saturday october the 24TH....GUNS N' ROSES AT THE BELL CENTER...17 years after the infamous riot..

    that's solid information....

    getting my tickets saturday....

  12. I still have not read anything from either Slash or Axl that I would deem unforgivable. C'mon guys, please work this out. They both have probably done things they need to apologize for. Did Axl show up late to rehearsals? Did Slash get stingy with Fall to Pieces? It is not like somebody stole someone's wife or some shit like that. This problem can be fixed.

    No it Can't

and he's better off without Slash.

people just need to admit..accept..whatever...roll with it...evolution..darwin shit..adapt.

  13. i also wanna add something.

i can't understand why the moderators or ERIC is letting those members posts such negative comments even bashing.

I mean if i had a Forum about my favorite band which is AXL now...i'd do anything for him to come and post at my forum...and now that he does, the moderators are letting those pussies post freely as they want..

I know it's damn democracy but c'mon.....i'm not trying to install some propoganda...and why not...we should be doing propaganda for the new band...BUT NO...you guys are still letting those haters come and post non-sense like ....« well, Slash is great..why should i believe you AXL»...BECAUSE he's fucking AXL ROSE and that's a GNR Board..not VR or Slash's snakepit board.

that's what i hate about this board..

like i said i'd ban any mother***** who starts shit by talking trash at Axl.

IT would be a full time job deleting posts for the mods.

And that sort of extreme action would be ridiculous. As long as they aren't getting personal and saying vuglar things just to be nasty I think the mods will let it be.

    i know you're right!!!....

but you know if i had a forum i would do it...you know.

I mean a forum should serve GNR interest not diminish them by allowing negative comments.

I mean even the media are picking up stuff from fan forum.

you really wanna start a revolution..you get rid of the resistance...and that's exactly what GNR missed out to do. They allowed the ''haters'' during the years the build a pro slash-VR army and that's hurting Axl.

The people weren't smart enough to how to build this thing out in the media... heck if i had started a forum..i would have made great Propaganda. Axl didn't control what happened, cause he stayed silent. he should've had been more aware of what was going on...he should've had someone to make a forum in his interest.

  14. Everything we need to know has been said.

AXL is like Bowie and Slash is like Ac/dc.

and you know what . i've stopped listening to Ac/Dc a long time ago.

Here's the music i've been listening for some years now : Peeping Tom, Radiohead, Tom Waits, The pixies, Godspeed you Black emperor, Arcade Fire, Matmos, Portishead, LFO, Björk, A perfect circle, Tool, Scars on Broadway ( good shit )....etc..

what i'm trying to say...if AXL would have gone the SLASH'S way, i don't think i'd be folowing the band anymore. Axl is growing musically and emotionnaly. That's what i wanna hear in a artist. For me the best band who has made the best transition is Radiohead and i hope GNR can do the same.

Honestly, i've heard the VR, slash's snakepit, Izzy's and Gilby, Duff believe in me and you can see where the heart and core is....this is just my opinion.

You can like VR and the others members project but it doesn't fit my Musical Profile.

it's ironic that GNR could still appeal to me cause i'm not that metal so it's a proof that GNR is growing in a great way.

  15. i also wanna add something.

  16. you know i've done smack for almost 7 years and i can tell you that i can't barely remember any of the things that went out in my life during the past ten years..

so imagine that...Slash..who has millions of dollars..probably bought a set or two of smack no 2 or 3 point like me...don't you Think that Slash's perspective on the whole thing might be fabricated or he just can't quit remember how exactly it all went down..

Us junkies, we seems to exagerate or alterate reality.
