thank god that Floyd got the longest coverage. Almost got beat out by Jay-Z and Linkin Park though
Four songs. Awesome. I swear... I had a permanent chill in my spine the entire time. My god, those guys are still the best. Flawless!
Although I have one worry:
-Ok, I admit, I hope a tour and/or album result from this, even if it's their last...
Roger Waters looked like he was having the TIME OF HIS LIFE. BUT... David Gilmour looked like he was kinda annoyed and didn't wanna be there. Maybe that's just how he looks on stage. I did see him smile briefly, so who knows?
Anybody else notice this?
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Yeah, the only time I saw Daivd Gilmour smile was a quick crack at Nick Mason. So I'm not sure. But Roger did seem to really enjoy it.

Godspeed You Black Emperor--The Dead Flag Blues
Jethro Tull--Thick as a Brick
Pink Floyd--Echoes
Pink Floyd--Shine on You Crazy Diamond
Pink Floyd--Dogs
Yes--The Gates of Delirium
Yes--all 4 tracks from Tales from Topographic Oceans
Yes--Close to the Edge

I think they're both in the top 5 songs ever written, but I'd have to give the edge to ALS.
-
not Bohemian Rhapsody. The middle part is way to irritating.
I'd say We Are the Champions.

For a second there I thought there was a recent Gn'R gig. Then I noticed it was from 2002. Dammit.
same here...I was so pumped for like 10 seconds until I saw the date

Hmmmm...3 Doors Down. And Lynyrd Skynyrd's plane crashed not far from where I live. In fact my grandfather went to the crash site and got a piece of the plane.

that article is horribly written...The Blues wasn't leaked, UYI 1 and 2 were 1991, etc. Wouldn't put TOO much stock in it.
