Axl, is there anything you can say regarding why the 2002 tour was cancelled, or are there still legal issues to be dealt with?

I have an unusual question, but something I was wondering.

Was Izzy at the venue by 9:30 or 10PM on Wednesday night? I was there trying to find a ticket but had no luck. I wish I'd hung around for a bit longer to try and meet him.

I read on another board that Izzy's guitar was soundchecked shortly after 10, so I'm thinking he was probably there for a while before that.

Did anyone see him arrive?

I was wondering because after seeing Friday and Monday's shows I went down to the Hammerstein at about 9:30 or 10 last night hoping to get a ticket (had no luck). If I knew Izzy was going to be there I would have tried to go to the back to see him arrive and maybe get an autograph, or at least shake his hand.....but now I'm figuring that by 9:30 or 10PM he was probably already at the venue since he was on stage less than a couple hours later.

Was Izzy hanging around at the Hammerstein before the GNR set started last night?

I wonder if he was there for the BFMV set.

What would the chances be of just getting 1 ticket to the show? Would the chances be better than getting two or more? I only need one ticket.

Can you ask Merck if there are any plans for a U.S. tour, or shows in New York or New Jersey?

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm kinda hoping for a U.S. summer tour. I couldn't make it to the Madison Square Garden show back in '02, so I'd love to have the chance to see GNR this year.

It seems like GNR will be playing some overseas festivals in May and June, so far that still leaves July and August open for some shows in the U.S.

Axl, come back to New York! Or the Meadowlands in Jersey. Summer = Giants Stadium!!

just to clear up any roumors - AXL WAS IN NYC THIS WEEKEND. I called his hotel and talked to Beta!! She told me that he was going to be there all weekend - But that was before all the snow, so he may have left earlier, who knows?

Also, a buddy of mine from NYU partied with him and the fag from the Notebook till about 7 in the morning in a bar on Thursday night...

When did you call? Which hotel was Axl staying in? If Axl's still in NY, he's probably gonna be snowed in for a while.

Was Axl in NYC on Friday Night? I was in the city at this time and I was wondering if Axl was around somewhere.
