The so called over production is what makes the albums great and still listenable 23 years later.
Pretty Tied Up is one of my favourites.

Automatic Overdrive and 30 Years To Life are favorites so far.

So Fine due to Duff singing.

I think Slash wasn't interested in that. It worked for AFD cause Slash was down with what influenced that record. Just from listening to what he chose to release as a solo artist, it seems he's not that flexible when it comes to the styles he plays. He just wants to do the metal, hard rock, a few ballads here and there kinda thing. Which is totally alright, but it doesn't work for Guns. You have to let the rest of the band members rape it in the ass like Duff said and then it's a real Guns song.
Source for that Duff quote?

'Reed says of the legendary group's next batch of material.'
Stuff like that really bothers me. And this is coming from Billboard. None of the guys in that picture are legendary in any context except for Axl and they're not even the guys who wrote and played the core of the last album.
Where's Axl?

Watched the You could be mine intro. Sounded awful.

Even though it's completely different genres, LDR somehow reminds me of GNR. Both lyrics wise and the looks. The Born to die video reminds me of Use Your Illusion era videos like DC/NR/Estranged. And the voice is something extra, just like Axl.

Of course...

Have you noticed this post on HTGTH yesterday?
This tour is not to promote the album, it's just to get the attention. There's a longer delay. The album won't be out this year. If you don't believe me, PM Mysteron, he knows it already.

I don't know who this guy is, but there was only ONE reply and the topic was deleted instantly. And it is said that Jarmo deletes it whenever he finds out it's true. Otherewise he just writes FAKE in the title of the thread or he just locks it.
And I thought the shows in 2000-2002 was to get attention...

Or.. the time was 8:50 in finland.. More relevant because Jarmo is from finland.. Isn´t he
Jarmo is a finnish name but he's from Sweden.

Axl said it's coming, that's good enough.
He said that in 2001 too. :xmassrudolph:
Just release a cd with demos or somethin'.

I've invested seven years waiting. :chef:

You huys are both nuts
GNR never have been and never will be a fucking "pop rock" band. Pop rock is hansen, moffets, sum 41 and all of tha bullshit.

I hope CD will be like a UYI3

I really thought there was a "chance" tomorrow could be the day. But, as each hour passes today without rumor from any record store saying "we have it" - makes me pretty skeptical. Something should happen tomorrow if this managment team for GNR is worth anything. All of this postering, the Harley ad being released and then pulled, the tour dates being postponed....it has to lead to a big announcment or surprise release. If GNR takes the stage tomorrow night without any new news, Merck is without a doubt, a moron.
My prediction - GNR's website will be updated tomorrow with a "clip" of Better - announcing it as the first single and announcing that it is being shipped to radios stations this week. Then another cryptic statement stating "only 9 Tuesdays left in 2006" - most likely pointing towards a Nov 21 drop.
Sounds reasonable.
I mean, if the record was mastered and manufactured we would have known that.

Top 20.
The album? At least top 3.
