Even tho its been mentioned numerous times already the song to hear live for me would be Estranged. I like many others feel a personal connection to that song and it has helped me through some really bad times. I saw Nugnr do it in 2011 and thought I was gonna faint. That was my first gnr show and just hearing axl do that song live was amazing. To hear axl do it again WITH slash? Yea that's a lifelong dream.   My show is cincy July 6th

okay so figured i'd post this cause i didnt see a thread for it. i was browsing my dish channel guide and hit the info on pawn stars for monday nights new episode. the info states the episode is called "sweet pawn of mine" and that drivers license owned by a guns n roses guitarist is brought in to the shop. after googling the episode it states that its slash's license thats brought it. just figured id mention it in case anyone wants to check it out. it airs at 10pm est.

i just watched it and thought it was pretty great. imo axl seemed a lil nervous when he first came out (moving around in the sit trying to get position just right) but he got relaxed and the whole interview was pretty funny and seemed like a good time for both of them. nothing was said about new music but that really wasnt an expectation of mine, i think axl came off real well in this interview.

wow since bumble on the thread just had to chime in and say i finally lived my dream of seeing gnr live in december of 2011 in nashville. the band was perfect and ron knowing that you were in pain with each step you took and every time you held a guitar you were fucking outstanding!

i currently have 3 gnr tattoos and plan to get many more. while i may say its a lil "unusual" to get ashba tattooed with a gnr logo i must say whoever done the work is a great artist. also while the person who got the posted image may regret it if ashba ever leaves the band it is this persons body and not mine to judge. i know if someone looked at one of my gnr tats and had something bad to say i would pretty much tell them to fuck off. (i have the "pretty tied up" girl so i could see how some wouldnt like it but each persons body is their own and if they choose to put ashba or i choose to put the "pretty tied up" girl on me so be it at least its a well done tattoo and who are other ppl to judge what you do to your own skin?

im 25 and to sum it up quickly i think axl is a lyrical genius. while he may be crazy at times i think his writing ability is amazing and as far as the whole band afd was the only thing coming out of that period that was just raw and badass and that still holds up today.

i want a tour book and an axl poster sorry it took me a while to reply to your pm been offline for a while.

i was there!!! axl fucking nailed civil war!! had great seats the arena erupted when they played it not really any other suprises of that magnitude, will post a review later today after some much needed sleep
