  1. They showed up one hour late. Many people were pissed off and left, lots of empty seats, the show was nowhere close to being sold out. The floor was not even packed. Yes I enjoyed the show but maybe they came early they could have played more songs. We didn't get patience, irs, civil war or something. Only 27 songs...

I ended up taping video and audio. Got full audio but there was so much security that I missed the first few songs on video. Other than the first 4 songs I taped the whole video but its from nose bleeds.

Loved the show don't get me wrong but I would really have loved it if they played more songs, maybe even 32 would have been good. This is Toronto, the biggest city in Canada, I was expecting a long night with at least 30+ songs

My first time seeing them but they didn't leave a good impression. Danko Jones was on time, Sebastian Bach was on time, why can't axl rose be on time? Anyways, it was fun, thanks GNR for a great night but I wish they played more songs. I will upload something on youtube

Shut the fuck up man, you sound like a whining bitch. Honestly, don't even deny that this show was good. Based on all your critisism it sounds like you were dissapointed. The place was packed, spare seats were taken up immediatly when Axl came on. (But yes, the floor wasn't that full). He sang well over the standard showtime of bands. Suck it up.

I have the right to be pissed off. He was one hour late. I do have work early but I still stayed up. And yes it was pretty empty, I don't know where you were but there were tons of empty seats. I took video and photos so I know. I've been to ACC many times and I know what a sold out show looks like. I love GNR but thats doesn't mean I will always defend them and say great things about them, just listing the facts. People left, people were pissed cause he was late and it was NOT close to being sold out.

Anyways here's a video for you all to enjoy

I didn't deny the fact that people left, pretty fucking sure I was there. Wow, I have pictures too and pretty sure I can see that the place was PACKED.. Whatever, have fun bitching about it.

Whoa what's your problem? He's just saying that he would have enjoyed them more if they had have respected their fans and showed up on time. When I went in 06 (as I've mentioned many times here, but hopefully no one's paying attention, otherwise *I* sound like a whiny bitch) I dealt with the same thing. Axl started ridiculously late, I missed the GO Train out, had to spend the night in a Tim Horton's, couldn't sleep and had work the following day. I was pissed too. But I learned my lesson, and now I just YouTube their shows.

  2. Why do people continue to think and theorize that Axl will do anything by conventional means? The release of CD was disgraceful, with no promotion, interviews, announcements, etc - a 15 year wait all for a forced release through Best Buy? For all we know the South American leg could be the last we see of them for another year or so. Its fucking annoying. Then they do a handful of shows and everyone has a boner. He posts 3 times to Twitter (with the grammar of a 14 year old girl) and its the funniest and greatest thing ever. And by the way, Axl's lost all the magic of 'Guns' with that 15 year hiatus between albums and a 'real' tour. He's largely been forgotten by the general public. He's basically starting all over. I don't know if he's realized that or not, but I hope he rues the fact that he had a chance and blew it.

    1. CD did have promotion, can't believe people are saying it didn't, in fact i'd go as far as to say that it got more promotion than most albums, plus who the hell cares if it didn't sell too well, at least it got released, and we got the music we have been waiting for

    2. Axl posting on twitter is a pretty amazing thing, especially if you are a fan, and as for his grammar, do you think mocking his use of shortened words and acronyms because he is posting to the fucking internet makes you a really mature and cool guy?

    3. This tour so far has been amazing, people who have been waiting 1 and a half years to see even axls face since the release of CD have a right to be excited

what is your problem? not everything in this world is as perfect as your punctaution..

    did i just get trolled?

His grammar is really terrible from what I've seen on Twitter, there's nothing wrong with that being pointed out. It's a HUGE pet peeve of mine and many others to see people use "R" instead of "are". Your number 2 complaint that asks if GeorgeGlass was trying to be a "really mature and cool guy" just comes out of nowhere. Does your use of the word "fucking" make you a really mature and cool guy I wonder? As I read your post I can't help but think you're on the verge of a Scanners type moment (Seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HY-03vYYAjA ). Now in fairness to Axl Twitter does put a cap on your post size (I think, I've never used it, it's not too big here yet) and if that's the reason he's writing the way he is then that's understandable.

  3. It looks good on Guns N Roses that they aren't selling out these arenas. In my opinion, Axl looked upset when people left the show I went to in Toronto at around 1:30, but what the hell was he thinking playing so late. I've always been as loyal a fan as I can imagine, but even I was super pissed when I missed the train back home and had to wait in a donut shop until 6:15 the following mornign waiting for the train to start back up, while having to be at work the enxt morning. Complete ignorance in my opinion, and there's no excuse for it.

  4. Fantastic show, would have been better if they started earlier so I didn't miss my train back to Burlington (city 60 KMs or so from Toronto), which required me to wait in a Tim Horton's (Canadian coffee franchise) for 4 hours until the trains started back up. Needless to say, work sucked today.

  5. I could care less about how much it cost, unless it was under 25 grand and recorded on ProTools in Axl's Garage.

    You mean "couldn't care less".

But to be honest I'd even take it, recorded on Pro Tools in his garage. :)

So it bothers you too when people say 'could care less'? I hate it too (and I'm not being a jerk to the person who originally said it, it's just one of the things in life that annoy me that probably shouldn't)
