yea, i was at the 12/5/2002 MSG show too. me and 3 friends showed up at the blarney stone on 32nd street to get all "tuned up" for the show. every person in the sold out garden sang every word to every song. i can honestly say that i was blown away. it was one of the top 3 concerts i have ever been at.

That was an amazing show! The fans were awesome. There was such an energy there. Man, I'm glad I was there for that.

Most of those choices make me sick  ???

God, MTV sucks these days.  It sold itself to the Devil.  Pop Music sucks ass and so does Justin Timberfake.

Between the crappy videos they show and the fake smile of Carson Daly, it is a pukefest.

I love the lyrics to it.

Maybe Axl found Jesus  ;D

Axl can sing a song so many different ways, it's incredible.  He has a distinct voice and that screech, you can tell it's him.

He's definitely one of the best lead singers ever.

I think it's too early to say how good Buckethead is.  Let's see them release the Chinese Democracy album and a couple of others before we start comparing the two guitarists.

How do you (and All) think why Axl don't reunite with old GNR ? I'm sure that it will wait all GNR funs. And now Axl do stupidity, foolishness , for example - event with MSG show.

You make no sense.  If you want to hear the original lineup, go listen to their old albums and get some live concerts.

It's definitely a rare CD.  These were unreleased tracks.

I don't think Axl and his new band came all this way for nothing.  They kicked ass at the MSG show.

They will release this album and it will rock  .

Their version of "Live And Let Die" kicks ass.

But I will vote for "My Michelle" on this one.

GUNS N' ROSES Intact, Putting Finishing Touches On 'Chinese Democracy' - Dec. 19, 2002

 Rumors that GUNS N' ROSES cancelled their tour because of the departure of guitarist Robin Finck and bassist Tommy Stinson are false, a spokesperson for the band told Launch. The spokesperson wouldn't give any details surrounding the reasons that concert promoter Clear Channel Entertainment and GUNS N' ROSES ended their tour affiliation, but did say GN'R is very much intact.

The band, who are said to be "currently on vacation," will return to the studio in January to put the finishing touches on "Chinese Democracy", due in the spring. GUNS N' ROSES' last studio album was a covers album, "The Spaghetti Incident?" , which was released in 1993. The last original song that hit radio was "Oh My God", which appeared on the soundtrack to the movie "End Of Days" in 1999.

If this is true, then I don't blame Axl for not showing in Philly.  It sounds like he was given an ultimatum.

I also agree with the people who said that CC might have done a poor job marketing it.
