yeah neither of the videos do it justice really, it was amazing. as soon as axl said something along the lines of "we're going to do something a little different and play something we havent played in a long time" i knew it was civil war. he also said this was a rehearsal infront of the largest rehearsal crowd in the world lol

im hoping it'll be as great a show as the last one i went to in detroit of 06. i convinced a guy i work with to come along. he liked old guns but never heard any of the new stuff before i let him borrow chi dem which he actually liked.

I wish they'd just hurry up and release a date already. I know gnr doesnt do the things the way most bands do but I've never seen a band announce a tour then release the dates a few at a time. Now I read on here that they arent coming to cinci even though it was on the list which really worries me...

i went to both the 02 show and the 06 one. i had crappy seats for 02 but was just stoked i was able to go. i do remember at one point people booing loudly and cups being thrown cause they thought he'd be a no show but when the lights went out people went crazy. the 06 show was fantastic, i was front row and dead center. it was my 2nd fav show i've ever been to behind only one of the nyc warm up shows

Any suggestions for someone traveling to the new york show but doesnt have much cash? most of the hotels i looked at are pricey. are you allowed to roam the airport?

Does anyone have an extra ticket to the new york show? im coming all the way from detroit and i dont wanna be in the nose bleeds, something lower level with a nice view or on the floor would be nice. thanks

I know Bumblefoot took Bucketheads place as the lead player, but at the May 15th show it didnt seem that way at all. Robin was doing most of the solos, and Axl generally was around him more the whole show. just an observation.

Is the new york shows all ages or is it like 18 or 21 and up? i didnt see it say anything like that on ticketmaster but i thought it would be smart to ask before i fly out to NYC.
