I guess you can put me down for having given up on the band. Actually i don't consider them a band in a long time. They don't have the hunger to create or to express themselves through music (at least Axl as far as i'm concerned). They just tour for the fat paychecks and for the camaraderie. I occasionally check things out just for kicks, after all i do love their early days.

wow the guy can hold on to a grudge......can't even stand besides those guys fon one fucking evening ...but i forgot he has to tour the chinese democrasy shit for the millionth time

maybe they;re supporting Van Halen (they're starting on 18/2) just wishful thinking

I watched the entire show streaming live and it was amazing. Axl may have been off a few times but he is human, and certainly made up for it by regaining his rasp and spirit on most of the songs following jungle. He gets tired and a bit out of practice and forgets things like we all do, but I feel the performance was fantastic and a highly memorable one for GN'R. You can't expect a live show to not be raw in some forms. He was joking with the audience even, and the crowd were having an awesome time by the looks and sounds of it.

I was dying watching SOAD and Slipknot, how people enjoy these bands blows my mind. I wanted to tear my ears and eyes out as these jokers were playing but fortunately Guns came on stage and saved me.

This is a great band, and they were just warming up at this show. I'm confident the upcoming shows, and the U.S. tour will be even more awesome.

what a trainwreck!!! that's it for me ....the biggest concert-event in the world being broadcasted worldwide and Axl shows up blowted , out of shape , forgetting lyrics, basically the same setlist . Let's face it he just doesn't care anymore ...he's just playing for money and dragging whatever credibility he had left down the drain. He had months to prepare for this show , get in shape , rehearse add some new songs instead he arrives in Rio a few hours before the show cause he missed his Friday flight!!!

Another big lost opportunity on his part to relaunch this band , yet another big letdown . Lets face it this can only get worse ..US tour is probably gonna flop big time and he'll go back to hiding for 2-3 years while we wait for chII.

Just not worth my attention no more ...time for me to throw in the towel
