  1. I forgot how good this show was. The guitar playing was insane. I remember being so pumped up for this show. I went to the Hartford show two nights later was not nearly as good. I believe they played MSG and then we all know what happened from there. This lineup sounded pretty tight I thought Brain fit in well.

  2. Went to the 11/7 show and will never forget it. Thanks to Ron as he helped me with my engagement during his solo Thanks Ron. It was also the first show they played catcher and TWAT. Thanks again Ron you are the best rock3

  3. I hope someone sends this thread to BBF so he sees it. What a guy! :)

I have thanked him over and over I let my fiance read our chats going back to mid October and she was just amazed at how nice he was.
  4. And a couple of douches that bug him and act like complete assholes towards him insist that he sucks. Only a retarded person would like a total douchebad when dealing with the coolest musician out there. That's why people that attack him have no self respect and suck as human beings. And they do not deserve any respect as well.

On topic - cool story, the man is such a class act, a super nice person. Small things like these make a lot of difference on people's lives yet they are generally unnoticed.

Could not have said it better this is something that I will always remember. . . Thanks Ron
  5. He asked if there was A Kara in section 302? Then said that Jim has to ask you something. He then paused and said is this going down Jim . He also offered me backstage passes but my fiance is pregnant and was not feeling well so we did not go backstage bummer. But Ron is just great.

  6. I just want to thank Ron I wrote to him in mid October asking him to help me out with my engagement. He was so great at the 11/7 show he did it before his solo. Anyone who was there from the forum no what im talking about. He was so concerned he messsed up he even wrote to me the next morning. He was incredible as I wrote to him numerous times the past month and he returned every message. Thanks Ron

  7. Say what you want about this band but one thing is 4 sure they can bring it! DJ has come along way since Canada he is nailing his solos! No matter what you can look back at the old lineup and they had there off nights as well. This band seems to just get BETTER thought I know Better. Bring it to the states and I am looking frwd to NYC AS Hammerstien was my favoriote show of all time and Axl Loves New York!

  8. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Ok, this was talked so much times in the past months.

Yestarday I was talking to my friend about Axl and his vocals... And I can say, today, that the "new" vocals are the best in Axl's career.

It's in an excelent moment... Everyone could remember the EXCELENT performance in the 06 Rock AM ring.

But... Today in 2010, every GNR concert is better than THAT concert... And this is talking to much.

Just a little comparation of the song "The Blues" (It's named the blues...)

    (Sorry for posting this)

    Rock In Rio 2001

The best thing that happened in that show is the "OK, nevermind"...

And Buckethead, he's the god of the guitar...

    Rock AM Ring 2006

(Look at the 3 last characters EMO)

Very good show, I LOVE IT...

    But look at this sh*t

    Osaka 2009

OMG OMG OMG... Just look at that :|

Hmm, I don't agree. IMO he sounds very good at the moment, but i wouldn't say that his vocal is the best in Axl's career. People don't forget that Guns' n Roses exists since about 84' and for me personally he has the best vocal in the end of 80's. This roughness and strongness of his voice was amazing.

But hey, he is older now and I definitely don't complain ;)

Could not have said it better myself these shows are very good but man the first time I saw Axl in the late 80's that was the shit rock3

  9. So, that's him told. The fan in question subsequently removed his original comments, saying that his "memory ain't perfect".

WTF? No one ever said this! Not Revolver not Madison. This reporter is making stuff up!

    Exactly.

I certainly never said that. I stand by my sources and the story.

I offered Axl and Beta the name and number of the security manager so they could follow up to find out where the communication got off-track (if it got off-track as they allege), but they had no interest. Axl preferred to make a slanderous offensive post - shooting the messenger - instead of taking the time to see if someone had been giving instructions on his behalf without his knowledge.

Axl doesnt control the forum. ... .

    Yes, he does.

Welcome to the new GNR-controlled forum.

so much for democracy lol not going to be found here it is a dictatorship from here on out!

  10. tokyo would be worth it as he actually bothered to care what the fans wanted, i mean how can he justify 70 quid a ticket and not play catcher or twat !!!!!!!!!!!!!! hmmm im thinkin maybe slash has a point about him, and axl is my idol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on he put everything he had into the canadian leg of the tour I would like to see Montreal released
  11. I don't know if Bruce Springsteen is touring, but he sells a lot too

Springsteen is pretty much the champ when it comes to touring acts. He sells out nearly everywhere he goes, plays for roughly 3 hours nightly (34 actual songs ...not solos....at his last show in November) and changes the setlist almost nightly. There really isn't much more you can ask of a musician.

Never considered Springsteen hard rock not even fair to compare
