  1. The cough during patience was intentional. He did it during the Illusion tours a few times as irony. "I'd rather be alone, cough!" He would also say "bullshit" following this line occasionally. On another note, he seemed pleased and happy when the crowd sang the "with your ass in the air" line during you could be mine.

Also, his voice was the best so far. Better than 2002 also. I thought he was good the Friday night, heard his voice sucked 2nd show, but this third show, from the 2nd mezz, he sounded best i've heard him. The band was also playing much tighter. Being able to hear him over the band was great. I was scared after reading about the 2nd show, but I was really surprised, one of the best shows i've ever been to.

  2. Friday night I had will call and the line was slow due to the small dimensions and location of the box office, its more or less a moving line that runs out the building. The line next to it is for ticketholders and moves fast. Last night I had tickets and will call was actually moving faster at one point. It's funny because the security last night was much tighter than on friday - i got patted down etc.

  3. Definately go with the balconies. Friday I stood right infront of one of the pilars with my friend and we had a perfect and totally unobstructed view of the show. Last night I was in 2nd Mezz and was at a pilar again in the center. Except for one guy holding his arm up for the whole show, great view. You can stand in the aisles or sit or even stand in the way back by the bar. If you are a small girl, def go with mezz for the best views.

  4. Doubletree is good and more or less affordable. As for bars, stay away from times square 40th-44th streets - most places are tourists traps with over priced drinks. There are plenty of bars and pubs right next to penn station between 29th and 37th. Blarney Stone, the new lounge right next to it, tier na nog, tempest. I know it has been posted that people are getting together on the 15th at mustang harry's - a very nice irish restaurant/pub that is usually packed before knicks and rangers games as well as most concerts at the garden.

  5. i'll be leaving work early on the 15th, Mustangs sounds great. Im in if drinking is involved. Just some info for people not familiar with 7th ave in the 30's. There is a mustang harry's and a mustang sally's - and they are a few blocks away from each other. Just so nobody gets confused and pops into the wrong bar.

  6. I first got the "state" email but found out it didn't work. At the 9am I acutally guessed the first pass ending in "y". Then got an e-mail from live nation at 9:45 with another password ending in "y". Both the "y passwords" worked while searching for tickets. I ended up not getting any and just purchased 1 for each show on ebay. They sellers said they are hard tickets that are guaranteed. I didn't pay too much compared to what many of the tickets are going for and actually am happy (if the tickets eventually come through). I was tired of stressing out over the pre-sales and can afford to pay double for a ticket that I consider a once in a few years event. The sellers all have extremely high seller raings on ebay so I hope it works out. I went into this expecting the presale not to work, and sure enough, as I can see, it let lots of us real fans down. Good luck to everyone else.

  7. I've lived here my whole life. Manhattan is different for New Yorkers and tourists. Tourists fall in love, New Yorkers just get it. You have to have lived here and experienced it. It's hard to explain. You are a part of NY and NY is a part of you.

  8. Cool poster man. I can't wait to actually see them on the city streets - something real in the real world I can see with my own 2 eyes. All these years of waiting, I wonder how I will feel when I finally see the posters in my hometown. Gives me hope we will actuall hear something. I am looking forward to the album more than I am in seeing the band, probably because I've seen the original lineup and 2000 incarnation.

  9. I'm not surprised at this either. Im not letting myself stress out over this because I think the pre-sales will either work great or fail miserably. I am lucky enough to be in Manhattan and willing to spend a little to see both shows. I am gonna try and get 1 ticket to each show. I will try my best whatever happens. Good luck to everyone else. I was lucky enough to catch them at the garden in December for their last show using ticketmaster. Any ideas on how the 2nd presale password will be released?

  10. That's lame about the sellers on ebay and stubhub. I am excited that they are doing a pre-sale, but I am kind of pissed for people in situations like myself. I have been following these boards for about 6 years. I lost my user/pass early last year, got this new one and never posted because it was a slow year and don't totally enjoy some of the online community. Do you think my chances at the pre-sale will be diminished by my post count?

  11. no need to give slash shit, buckethead ? go for it!,

I saw the last 2 Buckethead shows in NY. Bowery Ballroom a few months back and at BB Kings just a few weeks ago. I met some Bucket fans that were still pretty upset about him leaving the band. I myself enjoyed both shows very much, but also hate the fact that hes gone after hearing his work on the new songs. I dont think there will be too much negativity thrown his way.
