  1. Went to first Hammerstein show in NYC and I'm from Columbus, OH. Got them for face value and was on the floor. This was all do b/c of him through the pre sale. I believe evrything he says and I haven't met the man. Haven't emailed, PM'ed or ever talked to him. But I was there about 7 rows deep b/c of him..... I trust him. End of story.

  2. It Started with the leaks. I'm from Ohio and went to the opening show @ Hammerstein. It was fucking amazing. When they came out I actually didn't know that Finck was Ficnk. Last time I saw him in 2002 in C-Bus he looked like a goth dude, and now he actually looked like Jesus Christ. The show gave me hope and belief like this was the real deal and they were back better than ever. When I say that I mean better I mean better than the old band by far....Which I actually saw 3 times back in the day. Axl was back and ready to take his place. The Rolling Stone article gave me goose bumps as well as the Harley ad. I almost got fired @ work for playing it about 50 times over the sound system. Saying what's up to BAZ @ hammerstein. Hearing live in Cleveland about the Pigeons of shit metal from AXL after the first break. It's been the best year by far for me since about 93 as a fan. I just hope the real deal comes through and we get the fucking album that I promise will put AXl back on top. I get made fun of for having a man crush on AXl, but the man is the reason why these forums are around. I think my best moment will be when Merk gives an announcement on gunsnroses.com about a release date. Hold tight, and have faith... the messiah is here and lurking, his name is AXl Rose.

  3. I got my 2 floor seats for the 12th. Coming from Columbus, Oh, I can't freakin wait!!!!!!!!!! I've got two friends in the FBI that work out there and I'm hoping to back stage as well. Hell I live in dream world, but I didn't think I'd get tickets to the show either might as well try... Round 2 begins in 13 freakin days!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a friend from Pittsburgh that needs one seat also, if there are any floatin out there let me know. Thanks.

  4. Cool Hand Luke..... What we've got here is a failure to comunicate....some men you you just can't reach...etc.... the wardon talking with paul newman

  5. I for one think that the first single will definately one of the four that Marco Beltrami reportedly did in 2003. It makes sense that AXl put his masterpieces in the hands of an expert. Why would you go to all the trouble of hiring someone such as him if you thought the product was average? The four song were Seven, Leave me alone, General, and Thyme(Which could be T.W.A.T. with a new name), which actually be fantastic considering the song as we have it now would pale to something that a studio version with the additions of Marco on it. Now I can't remember descriptions of the rest but I remember hearing rumours of general being the "NEW" Welcome to the Jungle(AXL, if you're reading this I'm sorry for the old Aerosmith reference). The song just seems to have power in the name alone. This could also be a tie to what Zach Wylde said when he heard that CD sounded like AFD on "steroids". I think General if the old rumours are true would be a good possibile fit to kick it all off. I can just hear it now with the background being something out of WWII with thousands of soldiers coming at you and then...It's AXL and the New...Improved version of what we all know and love, GN'F'R!!!!

  6. Twat will be amazing when it's finished!!! If you ever heard the demos of the old classics from GNR and seen them in their demo form it's not even close. Madagascar, Better, TWAT will all be in the top 15 GNR songs of all time. Just remember that what even the band mates might not consider a big gun could be their biggest hit. A.K.A. Sweet Child.

  7. This whole IRS Better leak I think was planned. Maybe not exactly according to plan, but it's out there. We will hear something very vague in the next day or two from management. It will be quiet on the GNR front for a couple days then there will be an announcement that there will be a statement from management or AXL within the week about upcoming events. They will announce that the album will drop on day X and the first single will be played. There will be statements about Philly, Bucket, the old band, why it took so long and many, many thanks for all the people that helped them throu these tough years. They then will tell us that within the next three-five years we will be rewarded for our patience by 3 albums, AFD re-recorded, a live album, two TSI type albums(with remakes of actually good songs that the public enjoys), a box set, numerous official DVD's, a book, and a world-wide tour that will be 9 months on/3 months off for nearly four years. Dream? I hope not.

  8. These are late stage demos. Go back to your GNR F history books and listen to the demos of Welcome, November, Anything Goes(even from B/F GNR) and you can realize that the studio is 10x BETTER. Hell, I heard a bad version of November Rain about the time Lies came out. Now I don't think that IRS, which I've listened to at least 40 times in my car today and at work is top twenty material, but it's better than almost half of the Illusions which stand for themselves. If IRS is a so called filler song on the album this more than makes up for the 15 years of me catching shit about being the most normal guy in the world that's a Guns freak. Guns is alive and well if this is the starting point. Fuck the old guys, which I love... The new band is coming and no one can possibly stop them except themselves.... Round 2!!!!!
