Wow. I appreciate Axl keeping us in the loop about his decision and his questions about the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. I am surprised though that he thinks that the comments have been overwhelmingly positive. On here, at least, it has been the exact opposite.

I watch Game of Thrones (Totally addicted to this show and the books!), Boardwalk Empire, Eastbound & Down and True Blood on HBO. On Showtime, I watch Dexter, Shameless and Nurse Jackie. Dexter kind of peaked for me and is on its way down. Someone else mentioned the Trinity killer. That was a good season but since then....not so much in my opinion. I have been very picky lately about watching shows on regular cable. I can't bother with all the commercials! Once you start watching shows on HBO and Showtime, it's like no going back. They are so well written. Great special effects and of course more sex and violence, which is a-okay with me. On regular cable, I watch lots of cartoons actually. Ugly Americans, Family Guy, South Park. I also like Pawn Stars on the History Channel.

yeah boardwalk empire is killer and the season 2 finale was just amazing.

The finale devastated me! I really did not think Nucky would go that far. I thought he was just going to threaten and intimidate Jimmy. He was one of my favorite characters and they could of done a lot more with him. But I guess they had to make a point: You don't fuck with Nucky and get away with it no matter who you are.

Game of Thrones has gotta tone down the sex. The last episode was like soft core porn for me.

Yeah! They are taking it to the extreme. I thought there was a lot of sex in True Blood but it's nothing compared to this.

Oh yeah. Dizzy! Always forgetting about him. Obviously Axl not going may play a factor. I see people are pretty pissed off. Axl predicted it himself. He didn't have to issue a letter. He did that for the fans. People on here use to complain about how he kept us in the dark about new music, etc. But when he does inform us on matters he almost always gets ragged on and gets negative comment after negative comment. I am disappointed he won't be there but its okay. Other band members will be there and Axl is touring.

Damn! Well, I appreciated the letter and it was nice of him to explain his view on why he will not be attending. It was honest and well written. Totally agree with the whole "Damned if I do and damned if I don't" point. I am really disappointed but deep down, I think I already knew that he was probably not going to go. I never believed they would reunite or perform but I did want to see him accept the award. It is a huge honor after all.

I lucked out because I do have HBO. I did not realize that they are not going to air the show live. I thought they would since they would not have to worry about language or having to censor stuff out. I guess they just want to fit it in to a smaller time slot.
