liquidmetal
by far their most underrated song of all time. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=m-UzEwhJPiMI hitched a ride with my soulBy the side of the roadJust as the sky turned blackI took a walk with my fameDown memory laneI never did find my way backYou know that I gotta say time's slipping awayAnd what will it hold for meWhat am I gonna do while I'm looking at youYou're standing ignoring me The first thing I sawAs I walked through the doorWas a sign on the wall that readIt said you might never knowThat I want you to knowWhat is written inside of your headAnd time as it standsWon't be held in my handsOr living inside of my skinAnd as you fell from the skyI asked myself whyCan I never let anyone in ? Snake Eyes
It's a great song, but I think they have more under-rated ones like I Hope, I Think, I Know, She Is Love, Up In The Sky, Part Of The Queue, Who Feels Love?, (Probably) All In The Mind, Cloudburst, Just Getting Older, Pass Me Down The Wine, Roll It Over, Married With Children, Cast No Shadow etc..Roll It Over's chorus - fucking epic.Who Feels Love?'s verses - trippy.I've yet to hear a single Oasis song I don't like, though there's one or two on SOTSOG I'm not too fond of (though I still consider it a solid album with a lot of underatted gems on it). liquidmetal
I think it gets overlooked because it hasnt really got a chorus to it. the verses are amazing though, its fine lyrically too, especially when you hear noel gallagher saying his songs dont mean anything.
