I'm trying to make a cd of the cheesiest glam rock hairband ballads of the 80's and I need to know some of your favorite songs to help me remember some. I already have a few.

Poison - every rose has its thorn

Poison - Life goes on

Warrant - heaven

Warrant - I saw red

Whitesnake - is this love

Motley - Home sweet home

Motley - All I need

When the children cry was White Lion.

but you could have,

Thunder - Love walked in

Wasp - Sleeping in the fire

Kiss - Forever

hell theres hundreds you could have. Pretty much any of the bands labelled hair metal had at least one big ballad type song, thats probably why I like it so much. :drevil:

80's greatest time for music. B)

Guest Conga Fissure

Melodrama Creme Sickles of Sonic Fabrication. Shove it in my flesh ear please.

Hairmetal ballads were crafted to appeal to teen rocker chicks so the band could have groupies whom are STILL delusioned in thick haze of poet men and love.

"Baby....I WANNA HOLD YOUUUUUUUUU TO-NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Blonde turns to dyed blue rebel teen- "Isn't Bret Michaels so hot? YET he's complex and has depth. He's a sexy fuck poet. LET'S SEE THEM LIVE SO I CAN FUCK HIM AND HIS DEEP CEREBRAL LAYERED CAKE!"

And that's how Poison gets groupies.

Drummers get rougher chicks and fuck like baboons on Game Day.

Front men get concealed prep blondies.

Guitarists get hand-me-down blondies.

And keyboardist gets the undesirables. But with artificial chemical specious additive, the undesriables become "doable".
