Ricky_Rose
Recently I have been listening to R.E.M. a lot. They kick ass. Losing my religion is an awsome song and so is It's the end of the World. Pushing an Elephant up the Stairs is also a cool trippy song. What do you guys think about REM?

NYguns
It's funny you mention REM, because I've had What's the Frequency Kenneth? stuck in my head all day. REM is one of my all time favorite bands.

disorder
I go through phases with REM,I like their stuff then I don't.Every so often they bring out a great album and restore your faith in them.Their debut Album Murmur is one of my favourite albums and the song Radio Free Europe is as far away from downbeat as they get. Genesis
I love them. I have all their albums...copied for me!Still, they're fantastic and all. Many people will disagree because they have their tastes. Don't listen to the nay-sayers!
s_vonen
I like a lot of their songs, but the newest album was really boring

Lumiere
there just sooo different to my type of music, there isent any spark in it... I suppose you listen to really, really exciting music. If you want something with spark, get Life's Rich Pageant. As for my favourite album, Monster.
SofaKingWhat
i've been listening Losing my religion and Anybody hurts all week long Havent been listening to them very well then. Its Everybody hurts.I really dont like REM. To me their music has no life, and all the mainstream ones like Losing My Religion, Everybody Hurts and Shiny Happy People get over played on the radio here and makes me want to kill Michael Stipe.Hes also such a dull guy, and drinks orange juice. Wow rock on man!
Spoon87
I don't like them. Loosing my religion is cool, but i never got into the other songs.
T Patten
rem were a great band back in the 90's, but the stuff they've released recently has been really shit compared to what they used to do, but they've some great songs...

R.E.M. were a great band in the 80s. Apart from Monster and New Adventures In HiFi, their albums from 1990 onwards have been increasingly bad. Genesis
And I dont particularly rate Monster highly, Automatic though, well Automatic was bound to be mentioned.
Gallagher Rose
After Out of Time, the band is fuckin boring. They used to be a fantastic band in the 80s..but in the 90's, ..just an erratic band trying something new but never finding the right direction Edited April 25, 2005 by bucketheadisgod
Shazza
I like REM, can't say I'm into their latest album though but a greatest hits CD is a must have for a serious music collection methinks.
