I'll admit Perry Farrell is somewhat annoying at times but Ive gotten used to his voice. If you do like this band whats your favorite song? They remind me of LA during the late 80's-early 90's like GNR, only differently. Before GNR or JA were signed Axl played the Geffen people Jane's and told them to sign them instead, he was a big fan (we've all seen the ritual de lo habitual t-shirt too). The reunion cd was pretty dreadful though. I hate it when bands ruin there credibility by putting out a shitty album and touring long after the magic they once had is gone. They never recoverd from Eric Avery's refusal to do either of the 2 reunion tours. Wasn't expecting much, but it's actually pretty good.The first two albums I've had a lot longer and are obviously great. Navarro was a fucking ace guitarist. It's a shame he seems more focused on the media these days. He's got this very modern sound, but his roots are firmly set in classic bluesy rock. I wonder what would've happened if he had actually joined GnR permanently. Axl was a huge fan and would have just let him run wild, I reckon. His stint with the RHCP was pretty forgettable.
