He could be 500 pounds with a mohawk and would still be Axl. Besides, the media and the fans would always remember him as the long haired, wild rebel rocker Axl of the early 90s. Even if Axl came out wearing a clown suit with a big red nose, he'd still be the rockstar we all are fans of. Look at Jim Morrison for example. Before he died, he was bloated, his voice was ruined from alcohol and drugs and he basically looked like an overweight, bearded hippie; Though this fit a new Bluesier image for him. However, the world will always remember him as the sexy, leather clad skinny Rock God of 1967, the Lizard King himself.Same with Axl. No matter how he looks, or what he does, he'll always be Axl.
