Jackbox
http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?songs=386633&T=6214"Mad Gas Car"The band Boing, who blew everyone away in '05 with the song "Chinese Boingocracy," has spent the last year-and-a-half doing nothing but working on this one track. And it shows. This beautiful, multi-layered song is bound to go down in history for one reason or another.

Jackbox
For some reason, our song "Chinese Boingocracy" did not land us an opening spot on their tour, nor did it land them an opening spot for us. Hopefully, this will change that.

Jackbox
its painfully good.it's not it's a piece of shitWell, it is called "Shit" music for a reason... but are you implying there are bands out there who have a better sense of melody? final_touches
People shouldn't start threads in the news & discussion forum just to promote their shitty bands.
Jackbox
It's not a "shity" band. It's a "shit" band.
busngabb
It has potential.I've never heard the boing-synth used so brilliantly in an ensemble piece. I hope Axl hears this and re-records the album to follow the musical revolution started here. Boing is the future.

Rockstar78
I wanted to hate it. I really did. But I HAD to finish it. That picture of the guy in the toilet compliments the sonic journey that you are welcomed to join. No one should every pay money for such a thing, but as long as it's free, I'll have me some seconds. Jackbox
"Boing Synth"?...this makes me sad. But seriously, I agree with the guy who said "don't let axl hear this."Just so everybody knows (and I know everybody cares) the main riff is not done on a synth; it's two basses played in harmony with a slide. Like I said, this took over a decade to make, but since Boing was able to concentrate solely on that one song for the last year-and-a-half, it finally got done.As for the orchestra noises, there was an attempt to get a real symphony in there, but, for some reason, no one was really willing. But, if they could have been put out before Chinese Democracy.I wonder what Van Halen's up to. Don't they also claim to have three albums worth of material...?
