  1. For me, the most exciting part is this:

    Quote

For Slash, it all started with an inquiry into video footage of the band’s 2½–year, 194-show “Use Your Illusion” tour—a trove he once called “the holy grail of Guns N’ Roses.”

“I was talking to Guns N’ Roses management about making sure all that stuff was intact,” Slash says. “And then, I’d thrown out the idea, ‘It’d be great to find a producer to put this together’” as a film.

This suggests they are still discussing the possibility of putting out the UYI your film.  Maybe this will come with the UYI reissue.

What's the significance of the number 1-800-346-7447?  I phoned it and it appears to be a phone sex chat line, but googling it turns up absolutely no information.  Weird....

If you phone it, it asks for a member ship number.  If you don't have one, it tells you to phone 1-800-800-3000, which just says the same thing.  So, I don't think this is a real sex chat line, it's a GNR phone number... promotion starts now!

Question for all those demanding new music. Can you name 1 band of GNR's stature that has released anything 30 years after their peak that was considered good by the majority of the audience. Not hardcore fans but the casuals who are the ones who make up the majority of the concert going and music buying audience?  I mean one band where they came out and played almost all new material 30 years later that the fans in audience were dying to hear or see.

    Bob Dylan.

it's because the media is far more informed, intelligent, and socially aware than the average GNR fan - especially the ones that spend the entire day posting on internet forums rather than doing something productive.

Some of you guys make me laugh, as if anybody in this band ever gave a fuck about what anybody thought.  Maybe you guys haven't been paying attention the last 30 years 🤔 but this band has never shied away from expressing their opinions, and clearly everybody in the band is strongly against Trump.

    Also fuck Trump.

The people who also say leave the politics out of music also make me laugh, as if politics haven't been in music for well, forever.  I'm proud of the guys for standing up for what they believe in and not hiding away like some pansy ass pussies afraid to let their voice be heard.

If shipping wasn't 10 bucks I would consider getting this shirt

    Well said mate.

You would think exploiting a health pandemic would be more concerning here. GNR has been “political” before this

exactly, GNR has never shied away from politics.  I mean GNR has always been one of the most anti-establishment bands ever.  If that's not political, I don't know what is.  Funny to see people get their panties in a bunch about this.

Is he known widely as '45' in America? Why not just put 'Covid Trump?' if that's their intention. Even that sounds fairly dumb and nonsensical.

Ah, wouldn't be great if just once they released something decent, that those of a rational mind might wish to own?!

"Covid 45" is a play on "Covid 19"

Disgusting how they’re insinuating that they want Trump to die of Covid. Absolutely disgusting. This band is a fucking disgrace

Edit: I don’t give a fuck what anyone’s political beliefs are but regardless, this is way over the top.

They are not insinuating they want Trump to die of Covid.  They're commenting on Trump's position that the economy should re-open despite the pandemic, which will put tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of lives at risk.  He toured a mask factory with "Live n' Let Die" playing in the background, which is ironic because that's basically his attitude.  I can't believe people here don't get that.

  9. Why all the negativity about the "Live n' let die with Covid 45" t-shirt?  Y'all need to relax a bit.  This is an obvious reference to the recent trip Trump made to the mask factory, where he was the only person in the room not wearing a mask, and handling/breathing all over the new masks that were being made while Live n' Let Die was blaring in the background.  The irony was hilarious.  I can't believe so many of you are shitting on this - take your panties out of a bunch.
