God, I wish they will stop releasing this crap and focus on leaking demos from 2000'

Based on what Chris wrote during and just after, it looks like Axl told him they are not going to release album they were working, and instead of this going to be another tour with no new songs.

This is a peak of hyperreality.

Before Ticketmaster I was on concerts and it was cheaper, without Golden Circle EE Extra Platinum Lines or some idiotic service fee. There will be more and cheaper shows without Ticketmaster.

Except people who waste ten years recording ChD. Their work should go to garbage? Release what they did, and start new album with new incarnation of band.

Yes.  But for me Lusk is a lot more dreamy than ChD.

For me the closest album to ChD sound is the last Ed Harcourt's album - Furnaces.

It has the same a little bit dark mood, a lot of vocal layers, piano heavy and synths.

I think it was another way around. He was fired for unknown reason (maybe tension with Slash and Duff?), and then made this rant. For me best proof of this thing is that Chris mixed and co-create commercial for reunion showed in movie theatres.

My favorite GNR Era.  I'm only remember VMA show, but after I truly discover GNR, the 2002 line-up was my favourite. The level of excitement and fresh take on this songs makes that it's the only bootlegs that I'm listening. A

And what's more it opened my eyes an ears for a lot of great (not necessary rock) music.

I saw GNR  three time to this date (2006 Warsaw, 2010 Prague and 2012 Rybnik). And since the first show there was a downward spiral, in 2006 I was stunned. They sounded and looked like they gives everything, Axl had contact with audience etc.

2010 was different, Axl still sound great, band was a litlle bit weaker and more bored. But it was still nice experience.

2012 was big let down, it was just boring show, with Axl and band go through the motions. Axl looked and behaved like he didn't want to be there and just want to finished show. I was felled rip off.

And when I'm watching youtube from recent show, it's the same.

So this time I don't even think about going to this show. There is nothing new, same songs just different guitar player. It's not enough for me.

Lusk is one of the best project I ever heard.
