Well from the pics I saw, Duff seems to really be enjoying himself. But as far as him rejoininh permantly, only Duff and Axl can answer that question. But I'm sure it is something both men are thinking about. Let's not forget, but this is a home coming of sorts for Duff, everybody likes going home.

I love Tommy 02-06, really like his style and basslines. Work on ChD is also decent, but since 09 he looks like he isn't into GNR anymore. As he said many times, don't love old GNRmusic, and only want to create something new, but with Axl it was impossible... kinda bummer.

But Going Down is one of the coolest GNR songs (it's just fun listening it.)

I think the key here is that Axl is going to make sure to keep his promises (dates) and honor he promise to play music on said dates. He is that kind of guy now. Hate to say it for all you whiny kids, but Axl has one of the most dependable bands in the business. He may show up a little late, but overall he is pretty consistent. Good for him and Duff. If this is true, there are no negatives about this. Just some guys keeping their word to the fans. That is what Axl does, and that is why he never promises new music, you monkeys just make that BS up,

Sorry but why they book dates when they know about Replacements? Or they are other order? So Tommy prefer Mats for GNR?

Maybe at least write some letter why he won't show up...

Take last albums (The Slip and Hesitation Marks) - it's all the same patterns, the same songs. Till Y_0 every record was different, after that Trent is very repetitive, don't matter if this is NIN or movie score.

Trent is probably more of a boss than Axl is but I'm sure Trent is a very straight-forward guy, without drama, delays and diva stuff like that.

Trent is known as a class A uncaring asshole and a complete dick when it comes to NIN.

But he has every right to be.

He gets shit done and is an artist.

There is drama and there is diva stuff.

Comes with the territory.

Don't try to make Trent into something he is not just because you want to make Axl look bad in the process.

Trent is a control freak who wants things to be exactly as he wants them to be - which is understandable because NIN is Trent and the band are officially hired musicians. He lets them try things and put their own spin on things, so there's some freedom there, but they know when they're signing up it's ultimately his call on everything...

GNR's basically the same thing only without acknowledging that it is. Trent and Axl are my 1 and 2 favourites of all time but there's no "in band drama" with NIN because it's Trent's production. If you can't or won't do what he wants there's a problem, but again, that's the arrangement, everyone is hired to do what he wants.

Yeah, there is no drama in NIN? Don't you know about Dillon's situation and North? Trent is very similar to Axl. And last album is kind of something Axl doing right now. It's sounds and looks like exactly like TDS. Nostalgia act but another kind.

But don't get me wrong... I'm fan of NIN and GNR all the same, but I can see true situation...
