Maybe I'm wrong but I heard that Josh(?) invited Buckethead to Axl's Christmass Party and then Axl gave him a some special 'doll'. So Buckethead thought that Axl is right person who understand him.

Everytime someone post about a live song or concert being the best GNR has done you get the same old The Ritz 88 is the best.

I hate to tell you all that think the ritz 88 show is best, it really sucks in comparision to most 2006-prestent GNR concerts. Axl sounds like shit most of the ritz show and slash just about fucks up every solo. I know it was more of a club atmoshere but and raw and all of that. I was around back then and thought it was great at the time but I am not so closed minded to say nothing compares.

If Bumblefoot, Axl or anyone else made as many mistakes as where made at the 88 ritz show they would be ripped apart by most everyone here.

The ritz show has it place in GNR history, not doubt it is a classic but far from the best.

As much as I love CD, May's solo is light years better than the solo that was used. That's not a knock on it either, because it's still fine and all, but Brian May's solo just made the song for me.
