  1. Paul Dianno was a very underated singer...

I dunno, I feel if he was really that great, he would've done something good after Maiden.

His limitations were very apparent live...

He was awesome live in the early days, what fucked him up was the alcohol and cocaine addictions.

  2. Axl's voice was spot on the entire show. It cracked a couple times during the end of Patience - but then he nailed the rest of the song. Axl's voice has WAY more range now than he did in 2002 - not even close. Hitting long high notes, deep growls, classic Axl sounds. Axl was on top of his game. I was impressed.

I didn't care much for Robin after the 2002 show, but Tuesday night he showed that he is the back-bone of the band. Axl may be the heart and soul, but Robin continues to improve and is the "man" now. True, Slash can never be replaced. But Finck is doing as good of job as anybody good. In 2002 he was sloppy, un-enthusiastic and seemed out of place. Today, he was all over the stage, great solos and it maybe superficual - but now he looks like a member of a hard rock band instead of like in 2002 where he looked like an industrial goth player.

Totally agree with you, his range is amazing, i think "The Blues" is an awesome song live and the high notes from Axl are unbelievable!

And again Robin in 2002 did not fit in - now he looks cool - i hate that goth look he had before, no place for that in Gn'R!

    nice read.

    Robins skullet was fantastic.

  3. I agree but i do appreciate ron alot more than bucket. I think we needed a fan friendly guitarist.

Fuck a fan friendly guitarist. I hate everyone saying that Bumblefoot is a great, friendly guy. He has limited charisma and no image at all. Slash was a badass and everyone knows he was cool. Buckethead had a mysterious image and had better stage presence. Last thing the band should have is a nerdy fan friendly guitarist.

    Bucket totally owns Bumblefoot.

  4. It´s incredible what you can say of a man you know nothing about... .You don´t know Axl, you don´t work with him, ...

Neither do you, but that doesn't stop you from voicing your opinion.

Yes, but there´s a difference, I don´t act as a know-it-all like some people here do.I don´t act as if I knew the man or as if I knew what´s going on or as if what I say is fact or true.

Of course this is a message board and people are entitled to their opinions but a big majority act as if they knew shit when they don´t. There´s nothing wrong with expressing opinions, that´s what we all do, but acting like a know-it-all it´s not fair.

    Right on

  5. merck told rolling stone mag , that the album would be out this year

you have a point. merck does seem to be saying alot of untrue stuff lately
