Axl is the voice. An amazing voice that delivers like none that I've ever heard. But he's not the composer.

Axl did not have huge hand in writing the music/lyrics of Appetite thru UYI. I mean - look at the quality and intensity of the music and lyrics from those albums. Chinese had none of that musical or lyrical intensity and creativity. (Sure, Axl has legal credit, but without West or Stradlin, he can't compose for shit. Those guys were Axl's Bernie Taupin.)

My first impression of Paradise City is that it sucks. It is disorganzed (see homepage - holy shit. it is just a free-for-all. all kinds of random shit just thrown up there.). It is not intuitive to navigate and operate. It is not creative. It is not pleasing to interact with. All-in-all, it was not given a lot of thought, design, or care.

Its like the Chinese Democracy album.
