Killer version of Rocket Queen - I hope it is 30 minutes long when I see it - the reason for me going to the show is to see SLASH play the guitar - keep it up SLASHER - I cant wait to see this tour again . All the hate on Slash -dont understand that but each their own , if it wasnt for Slash there wouldnt be a forum , I get it now you are the younger generation that never seen the real GNR -it is all cool though !

I think Axl will kill it this time, I dont like CD at all but that material was so dated when it was released , I don't know if the guys in the band can come up with a true GNR album, Just hire Slash for studio work and let the guys play them Live, if AXL and SLASH cant co-exist at least we could get some killer music and they wouldnt have to be in the same room together !

The funniest thing I have ever read on this board is when somebody complains about Slash played Rocket Queen for 25 minutes -that is a dream for a fan like me, I seen him play it for 18 minutes the last time I saw him in concert and I was in awe! I wish he would turn Wicked Stone into a 15 minute jam too that would be killer ! If you go to see Slash and don't wanna hear him play for a long time -why are you there because that's the reason I am there is to hear him kill the guitar ! His GNR jams are legendary ! Slash is a guitar God sit back and enjoy the show !

We all need to Stop this I wish Axl was singing this and Myles vs Axl -Myles cant sing the stuff that Axl does as good as Axl could but he is the closet thing I have ever heard to even give the songs Justice and Myles does awesome on every GNR tune, in fact so I love Myles's version of all the songs-Nobody ever says if AXL ever played with Alterbridge -which he never would but I can guarntee you he couldnt come close to Myle's vocals in that band , I have been A GNR JUNKIE since 1987 religiously and still talk about them to my friends all the time, AXL is a once in generation singer and a top 3 frontman of all time, Axl is still my favorite singer ever but I enjoys Slash's Music a hell of a lot better than what Axl is doing these days. Its all right to Give Myles some love on his singing because in todays world he is the best singer on the planet for Rock music . Double Talking Jive was great the other night When I go see Slash, Myles and the conspirators when they come back to the states I hope and Pray they play DOUBLE TALKING JIVE because I will be pumped! AXL and Slash are the reason we have this great message board MYGNRFORUM which is a godsend for a GNR fan like myself -stop hating on the 2 guys that made all of us get into the band in the first place - Double talking Jive Motherfuckers !

I would really like to know how old most of you are, -I am 42 years old and have been a fan of GNR when they were in their prime 1987-1994, and still are of the original lineup plus Matt, AND went to 3 shows during that era and there will never be a concert to beat that and will be a fan till I die, Slash is giving AXL a compliment , wtf is wrong with that? I feel like the ones that were there from the beginning of their success understand better than some of u youngsters. Stockdale can hit all the high notes with a growl of zepplin and a mixture of AXL. I think it would be the perfect scenario , Early on VR was talking about a singer from Australia , I think Stockdale would make this band back to being a monster band, his vocals fit Slash's style perfect !

Its 1987-1994 and you show up at a Gnr gig and your are wearing a Slash shirt , you are getting ready to see the worlds most dangerous band, the most gritty, in your face , bluesy , hard rock, with killer riffs all night and screaming solos all while Slash runs around the stage jumping off 15 foot risers landing on his knees while playing the solo to Out To Get Me, shreeding through Perfect Crime, AND crushing Mr Brownstone, While Axl is ripping the roof off the place moving around like a snake , hitting notes so high and growling at the same time, He is in top form , owning the audience from the opening song Perfect Crime, Axl is singing in top form , every note loud and perfect , by the second song Mr Brownstone Rose is telling a story about how drugs almost killed everybody in this band, During Welcome to the Jungle , Axl is having to scream as loud as he can and he did, unreal vocal performance during Jungle because Rupp Arena holds 24000 people for a concert and I guarntee you there was way more than that, people were sitting in aisles and standing everywhere, everybody in the place knew Welcome to the jungle word for word and were playing sing along while Axl killed it , Slash has already played at least three 6 minute band jams and then killed the Godfather , one of the best live versions ever, playing the song Feelings on the guitar and then at the end played The Adams family theme , you are seeing one of the best bands to ever play in any generation in their prime killing the fucking joint! I didn't like CD because of the name, I disliked it because of the music, and I think a majority of the people (In the US anyway where the album didn't sell exceptionally well), who don't follow the drama or don't know the history, decided they didn't like the music either.

Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack, STP all opened with over 100k sales as many other rocks bands ( Shinedown?) , and sorry Godsmack was opening for Motley Crue some time ago , they are not able to put together headlining tours, even in USA

Samples are killer , album sounds as promising of a album that has come out in a long while in the world of rock of roll , there's some metal tunes, pure rock tunes, killerr sloer tunes and some fast hard rock, a fusion of everything , plus Slash kicking the guitars ass on anastasia, should be well worth the wait, youre a lie is a badass riff walking number , rest of the album will have plenty of slash ripping the solos, be well worth the wait

You cant really tell from 30 second samples, but the record has the makings to be great. Halo is a bad ass motherfucking riff, one of slashs best ever ! I m not gonna judge from what Ive heard but everything sounds fantastic, cant wait till may 22 . Sounds like Rock N roll is fucking back and ive been waiting for a long time

New album sounds like it will be badass, slash is promising a heavy album. He has stated that some songs are six minutes long , hopefully a lot of guitar jams, Myles will sing his ass off, Todd Kerns plays a meam bass amd Brent is a groove master drummer, Maybe album of the year maybe not but besides libertad cant think of anything slash does that doesnt rock out, I will see him in concert this year, seen Gnr in its hey day 3 times , its been a long time cant wau=it to see Slash kill the six string, BTW for the cat that posted SLASH didnt have the chops to play with Clapton, Bonassama, or Buckethead take a quote from what Zakk Wylde has said on many occasions that SLASH is the best guitarist of his era 1987 -2012 , Im not arguing with ZAKK WYLDE , he knows more than some poser that cant play a note hiding behind a computer, Yeah and BTW I do play the six string and have for some time!
