  1. I own one

    Fun as hell

Here it is next to my other machines

Hey, where's that Addams Family machine go? That and the T2 are great pinball machine games. I never got the chance to play the GNR one. What's that videogame Mame that you have?

Mame cabinet plays every arcade game ever released.

Addams Family was moved in after that pic

  2. at my local pinball dealer

You have a "local pinball dealer"?

    Odd.

Why is that odd, it's called George's Amusements. He has a huge building where he sells Billiard Tables, Slot Machines, Stand Up Arcade Machines, Hook/Crane Games, Ping Pong Tables, Bubble Hockey Machines, and Pinball Tables. He has pretty much anything you'd see in a 70's/80's/90's arcade. He also rents the first floor for birthday parties, there's an arcade on the first floor with some more modern machines and some older ones as well.

Here are some quick pics I took last night, I'll post some more detailed ones later.

I also uploaded a short video to youtube

  3. Well I just got the call that it was delivered, It's next to my Terminator 2 pinball and my father in law said it was taller than terminator. Although I would imagine a Data East Pinball would look different next to a Williams. I'm going home for lunch to try it out, and I'll post pics tomorrow.

  4. Also, since you have one as well I have a question. The Axl plastic is attached to a kick out. Around that kick out the playfield gets worn. On the machine I purchased, this is the only part of the playfield that doesn't look near new. Does anyone provide a metal protector for that are like the ones they make for the addams family pinball? I'd like to cover it up and protect it from future wear and tear.

    Thanks

  5. Actually I do need the Axl Plastic, that's the only thing on this machine that needs replacing. How much for a couple of em?

Here is the links to my auctions for em:

I will see them to a fellow GN'R fan for $20US each. Let us know how many you want and which ones.

Thanks man, I'll take 2 of the Axl ones. How do you want me to do the transaction?

  6. I have a couple of em and was always considering buying a GNR machine but they aren't exactly easy to find. I found one at my local pinball dealer that was completely reconditioned, the machine is almost brand new. He wanted 3500 for it but I managed to snag it for 3300, which is actually a pretty damn good price for condition it's in. I'll post pics once it's in my house, it'll be here Monday or Tuesday.

  7. Thank you for your e-mail.

This is the date that we have currently been given by our suppliers. As the

date has been changed numerous times before in the past, I cannot guarantee

that the same thing will not happen again in September. However, this is

the only information that we currently have.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind Regards,

    George

This is the exact same cookie cutter response we have gotten in the past when a release date was posted. No surprise there.

  8. I can't believe how dilusional you people are, Chinese Democracy will not be coming out anytime soon. It's a joke, and the joke is on all of you. And if you think there isn't a song on Contraband that is better than IRS than you are absolutely insane. It's cool to bash other bands and all but VR actually does have some good tunes. The ones posted are the lowest on the quality scale as far as I'm concerned.

Libertad will definitely be out before Chinese Democracy, no doubt about it. How can any sane person think otherwise?

  9. So.. the setlist was something along these lines:

    01. Welcome To The Jungle

    02. It's So Easy

    03. Mr. Brownstone

    04. Live and Let Die

    05. Sweet Child O Mine

    06. Knockin' On Heaven's Door

    07. You Could Be Mine

    08. The Blues

    09. Better

    10. Out Ta Get Me

    11. November Rain

    12. Down on the Farm

    13. IRS

    14. My Michelle (With Bach)

    15. Patience

    16. Nightrain

    Encore:

    17. Madagascar

    18. Paradise City

What about Solos? (Ron Solo in there somewhere)

Same solos as every other show.

Axl gave us a nice K-Fed impersonation too, before playing November Rain. He had us give Britney and Federline a moment of silence, but instead of quiet he got a bunch of boos and jeers. The band had a good time with that, and towards the end Axl brought it up again and got an even bigger reaction. He did the "West Coast" symbol and said "Word" when imitating K-fed haha.

  10. madagascar & paradise city encore.....fukin amazing show....ill post more details tomm

I just got back, good show.

Oh and it ended at 2:00am, you want a fucking longer show than that? What the hell is wrong with these idiots.

Sound problems as usual for Axl, iI thought he would have fired his sound guy by now. Robin ended up throwing three different guitars to the stage in fustration, maybe he broke a sting on one and didn't like the sound of the second, who knows. Ron was exceptional tonight, owning that don't cry solo. Oh and Dizzy got one of the bigger ovations for his piano solo, I was pretty much front row and his finger work is amazing on the piano. I was in awe.

Axl dedicated OTGM to the Fire Marshal at Portland, and thanked the Worcestor Fire Marshal for being so cool. At the end of the show they all stayed on stage for a while and Axl thanked everyone for coming, and especially the people who drove down from Maine because of the canceled show. It was a packed house, not many empty seats at all.

I'm going to bed, maybe more updates tomorrow.

  11. Apparently 11:20 is about the standard lately. Even in the beginning of the nite the secuirty guards were pretty sure he wasn't going to be there any earlier. He does it on purpose. I'm sure nothing will stop him from going on earlier if he feels like it but with the opening acts it doesnt seem like you're waiting that long. It's a good thing he has 2 now.

Good that means I don't have to be there until 10:00, screw the opening acts I had to suffer through BFMV earlier this year and I'd rather listen to them than Pappa Roach.

  12. Admiting that makes you an Axl hater.

    ...and a cupcake! :rofl-lol:

Also it moves you somehow magically to Slashs ass :drevil:

I beleive Chinese Democracy will come out this year, in a few days is the RS-article officially realesed and maybe the Better-ad revealed? Then there's only one stop left and that's Democracy.

What do you mean in a few days? I got the RS issue with the article in it last week.

  13. The tweeter center in Camden MA, has a 11:00 curfew because it is outside. For every minute the band goes over, they have to pay $0.05 per person in the audience per minute. Imagine what Axl would have to pay to START at 11:00? It would be a mess, for that show alone he would lose around $100,000.

Thankfully it's winter time in the US so he is playing indoor arenas, which have a late curfew.
