  1. I had to get tickets on Ebay, but I'm going the 12th with my girl. We will be driving in from RI, and staying at the Ramada Inn across the street from the Ballroom.

Since we are going to be so close, what time would be good to start lining up? So we can get decent position on the floor.

  2. I love how being one of the biggest GnR fans since they were formed means absolutely nothing when trying to buy tickets. 9am presale? 11am presale? Bullshit, every ticket has been bought up by scalpers with a few tickets left behind for some of the forum members. I tried the 11am presale right away and no tickets left, nice that they reserved some for the fans.

  3. my party just got 8 total tickets for the 15th!!

we'll might want to sell 1-2 if somebody backs out.

Hey man, if you decide you don't need 2 can I have first dibs? My girl and I are big GNR fans, we'd appreciate it. PM me if you have any left. Thanks

  4. I don't understand how a true GNR fan can think UYI 2 has only a couple of good songs on it. I've been listening to the albums since they came out in 91, and I have listend to UYI 2 WAY more than I've listened to UYI 1.

Civil War - My favorite of any GNR tune, and considered one of the best

Yestardays - Very good song, even better live

Knockin on Heavens's Door - I like this remake, even if a lot of people don't

Breakdown - One of my favorites from both UTI albums, very underrated. Although nowadays it's getting more respect

Pretty Tied Up - Nice catchy lyrics and faster paced than most of the songs on the album.

Locomotive - Starts with a kick ass funk riff, not very easy to get into the lyrics but not a bad song.

Estranged - Epic, right up there with November Rain and Civil War

You Could Be Mine - One word, Arnold

Don't Cry - The slow song of the album, same as UYI 1 but different lyrics

As for these demos, well at first I wasn't sure if I liked the direction Axl was taking, but that's what always happens with new material. Especially from an artist who hasn't released a song in a decade. I like where the new GNR is headed, I just hope the studio versions of these songs improves them.
