I wrote clear channel right after the cancelation of the tour around the 7th or 8th of december in 2002.. I wrote them askingfor an explanation on why the tour was cancelled...Basically asked them why didn't the band show up..

They told me that the band was going to call it quits anyways being they were already cancelling hotels and buses for their other remaining shows...

They basically said the band had no intentions on finishing the tour... I don't know the legal problems or whatever was involved but that was the answer they gave ME..

WHoever wrote the letter/email said it wasn't their fault (I was really pissed at them so they answered me) that not to blame them for pulling out ofthe tour, being the group was cancelling every acomidation for themselves over the rest of the tour.. They basically said they didn't want to be responsible for all the people

going to these shows only to not have gnr there ,,so they cut their losses.

Who to blame?

I can only say axl is to blame, being he is using the excuse of buckethead to not even give an effort to play with the remaining 7.. He shows no confidence in fink n fortus and won't even try to practice for the up coming two months..

He also won't try to get a replacement for the one show as a third guitarist.. It's all baby shit, but he's been known to wimp out like with metallica when James got nailed with the pyro.. He was concerned for his safety, or when he ran off stage because of the lame ass security.. He's a pussy.. Missing the tours dates in the us in 2002... Always showing up late..He only thinks of himself..

All and all axl only gives a fuck about him.. Sorry you were screwed over by him..

No problem.. I just did a quick web directory search with the word geffen.. Good Luck..I did the same with interscope/clear channel when the states tour was cancelled, they responded by saying axl cancelled tour buses and hotels of future shows before Philly even happened..

yea, i was at the 12/5/2002 MSG show too. me and 3 friends showed up at the blarney stone on 32nd street to get all "tuned up" for the show. every person in the sold out garden sang every word to every song. i can honestly say that i was blown away. it was one of the top 3 concerts i have ever been at.

i always drinkthere mostly when we redid the manhattan mall.. i was tuned myself and very ready,the show rocked although i was a bitto drunk
